Wonderful, unspoilt islands which are well worth visiting. Ww visited in July and it was heavenly. It's well worth a bit of a walk to the left when you come off the boat to less busy beaches with even more beautiful views. There are 3 restaurants and several sets of toilets as well as a small general shop at the... More

What a find! Upon arrival on the ferry from modern, over-built, rather ugly Vigo this is the Polar opposite. Quiet, unspoilt and unpolluted. A real 'desert island' in the Atlantic. The authorities have worked hard to keep it in its beautiful raw state and forbid any further building, litter bins and removal of anything from the island's beaches. We spend... More

Playa de Rodas on ISLAS CIES just a forty minute boat trip from Vigo was stunningly beautiful! Pure white soft sand stretched alongside the wonderful azure blues of the sea. The water around these islands is clear that fish life is very easily visible! The walks through the islands are very well marked with spectacular views along each. The wildflowers... More

If you are in Galicia and want to get away from the main places then take a trip from Vigo to the unspoilt Cies Islands. About 40 minutes by boat and you think you have arrived in paradise. Fantastic white sandy beaches. Enjoy a walk around the islands looking at all the fish in the clear unpolluted water. The restaurant... More

I brought my parents here when they visited me in Spain and I told them we were going to the beach. They didn't really believe me and were very impressed by this beach. The sand was soft and it wasn't too busy. There is also hiking around the Island which was a lot of fun.

One of the best beaches I have ever seen, white powder sand, crystal clear water, no constructions around, wild landscape. MUST SEE

Beautiful beaches with crystaline blue water and white sand. Great for a relax day. Almost like Caraibas but the water is too cold. Go to the top (Faro Cies).

We took the Mar de Ons boat from Cangas. Upon arriving at the island we followed the walks on the island for a few hours. They are beautiful, but do require good shoes since they are rocky. Then we spent time sitting on the beach where we relaxed. We took a picnic, although there are restaurants in the island. The... More

A half hour trip by boat from Vigo and you find yourself on this amazing beach. White sand, blue water, no cars, hotels and plenty of space. Walk to the highest point through the eucalyptus trees and see the waves roll into the bay. If you don't like staking your claim with the beach towel this is definitely for you

The guardian named it as one of the best beaches in the world with good reason. Fabulous white sand and crystalline waters made for a relaxed afternoon in the sun.
