The butterflies are out in the open in the zoo around you and everyone of our party had at least one land on them, some of which are the size of your hand. So many to find on a sheet that we were ticking off making it more exciting too. The Fountain World had a fascinating talk on coy carp... More

The butterflies where wonderful but it was hugely over priced. Could get into a whole zoo for a little more. The fountain area was ok but a little cheap looking. The staff were nice though.

Arriving today with my wife and two children ages 8&5, we all had a great time looking around the butterfly area. Having paid a lot of money to get in though I thought it strange to have to pay £1 more for a sheet of paper with a checklist of butterflies to see while I was in there. This review... More

We took our children (4&1) to see the butterflies are and all enjoyed the experience. They fly all around and landed on all of us throughout our visits. Our 4 year old also loved the carp talk and seeing them be fed. Worth a visit.

Last visited when it first opened about 27/28 years ago....the beautiful butterflies are more active when the sun shines ...then they fill the whole area. The fountain areas are in different sections with koi in the ponds....you can feed them at set times, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of photographic opportunities. An enjoyable few hours spent.

I was shocked at the cost to get in £8 per adult. However, the butterflies were stunning and lots of them. The koi were interesting. The rest was a bit lame, a dead frog and some boring fountains. Worth it for the butterflies but be ready for the cost.

We had a brilliant couple of hours here. The whole family loved it. Great for photography. Hundreds of Butterflies and lovely Koi. Staff were very knowledgeable. Nice Garden Centre attached.

A good option for a couple of hours on a rainy day. Very interesting to see butterflies emerging from their cocoon. A member of staff also gave a talk whilst feeding the koi carp, and children were able to feed them. Lots of photo opportunities as often the butterflies will land on you.

Really expensive to get in. Very few butterflies. Children were totally bored in 5 minutes. One to avoid

Unfriendly staff, butterflies very good, fountains good. Cafe not child friendly poor menu for children. Outside a children's chalk hoard with no chalks. A very rude member of staff shouted at my 2 children who are under 3 for placing some small stones on the floor outside while playing they picked the stones up and put them back in the... More
