Myself and my wife visited here during our honeymoon, and upon getting into caterpillar cafe. We're a little shocked at the prices. Cream Tea - £5.50 Small Slice of Cake - £2.50 So if you have a large family then beware, also if like us you were short on cash. Then your going to get caught out, because you have... More

I thought it was a lovely place but must admit is it worth the money? Butterfly's beautiful and all the little gardens :) just think it's a bit steep in price

What a beautiful tranquil place, it is indoors so if it's a rainy day this is an ideal place to visit!! Children were having a wonderful time there. If you sit or stand quietly the butterflies settle on you, great for wonderful photography. The waterfalls were lovely too and the flowers were so beautiful, an extremely interesting and well worth... More

Butterfly world is next to a garden centre and café, but you do have to pay to go into see the butterflies, coy carp and fountains. It is well worth it as they have to feed, heat and buy new butterflies

We attended here with our 2.5 year old, and must admit on arrival to the garden centre we wondered what it was going to be like but we were very pleasantly surprised. Staff were very friendly, one Man in particular was brilliant he told us loads about butterflies we didn't know and did a great koi carp talk and feeding... More

Once I’d picked myself up off the floor after paying to get in my girls and I went for a wander around the butterflies and moths at Butterfly World. We also saw some quails and chrysalis just about to pop out new butterflies. There are plenty of beautiful butterflies to look at but they don’t actually match the ones on... More

We recently visited Butterfly world with our 16 month old daughter and thought it was really good! Lots of butterflies and some little birds too. Fountain world is not as good sadly, and is very dated and needs refurbishment. The cafe is also very dated but big so space for a pram and large families. Gift shop was also really... More

We didn't set our hopes too high with Butterfly World, and we were actually pleasantly surprised. The staff were really polite (one man even let us feed the quails) and the hands on talk on feeding koi was superb. If you hand around in the Butterfly World part for long enough, butterflies will come and land on you (which allows... More
