Took our 2 year old, we all absolutely loved it. Various Butterfly's everywhere and little birds known as quails running around the floor. Very nice and relaxing place, kids love it aswell. Fountain world is also very well done and nice, I loved the koi carp that were in some of the waters and the Japanese themed garden was great.... More

We all enjoyed this place, even my partner, who is not a butterfly fan. We went round a few times without him freaking out! A really nice relaxing place (if you like this kind of place) and photo heaven. Our 6 year old son really enjoyed himself taking photos with my phone and playing with the fountains. The only negative... More

We went as a family with a 9 month old and she was amazed by the butterflies. I've never been good with anything that will fly around you (wasps generally) but once you are in there for a while you really get used to it. A few people had them land on them, including my daughter who had one land... More

We so enjoyed the beauty of the butterflies, particularly watching the stages from crysallis to butterfly. Which are well displayed. Fountain World was charming, To see roses flowering in May due to the hot house conditions was a treat. The magnificent Coycarp in the different pools was very interesting. We were there at feeding time (2.0pm) and after a short... More

We visited as the weather was poor and this was one of the few places we could find that was fully indoors. The butterflies were beautiful and very interesting. We had a talk from one of the staff members about the koi carp which was very interesting and we got to feed them too. It's a great place to kill... More

The weather forecast was poor, we'd been on the steam railway and we needed somewhere to go for a few hours and hadn't been here before. We went into the butterfly house and were overwhelmed by the number of butterflies flying free. The problem was that it was so humid our camera lenses fogged up! We then went into Fountain... More

This was a nice place to visit. I've never been to a butterfly house and it was a real treat. Full of pretty little creatures that if you're lucky, even land on you! There are so many different beautiful moths and butterfly varieties to search for in this one place. A real photo opportunity too! The setting is a lovely... More

The butterflies are out in the open in the zoo around you and everyone of our party had at least one land on them, some of which are the size of your hand. So many to find on a sheet that we were ticking off making it more exciting too. The Fountain World had a fascinating talk on coy carp... More

The butterflies where wonderful but it was hugely over priced. Could get into a whole zoo for a little more. The fountain area was ok but a little cheap looking. The staff were nice though.
