The iron works are long gone, but the restored environment is very pleasant to visit. There is an iron works museum, artesanal handicraft production, a couple of restaurants and sculpture park next to a pleasant river. A site well worth to spend a half day.

We experienced a great opening of the art gallery, Bærum kunsthåndverk. The gallery is run by a large group of artists - ceramics, jewellery, textile and glas. Great atmosphere.
