This was part of an excursion from our cruise ship and the drive to Rodven was through some lovely scenery and the church is close by a beautiful lake. Saw the sign on the drive from Molde to Åndalsnes and we’re so happy we made it there! We thought it was closer but the entrance is on the opposite side to the car park. Inside he entrance there was a lovely local girl who advised us she could give us guided tour with the entrance fee. Well it was more then worth it. The history and stories and details she told and showed us were fantastic! It was so great to hear how things were in the old days there and all the quirky stories and legends! The major highlight was when she said we were allowed to ring the bell!!!!!!!! It was very cool! Was so impressed with the info she gave us and to see how passionate she was about it’s history. If driving in the area it’s a must see! …

Found out by chance that this was on our way so stopped in and it was open. Lovely old building with a lovely Norwegian young lady to explain its history to us. Open 11-4 everyday in summer.
