This is a charming small winery that looks like it's been around for hundreds of years (started in 1988!) The main showroom and porch offer a wonderfully relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Adonis gave us a tour of the winery. This was not our first winery tour but it was one of the more interesting ones. They are just... More

I have been here three times now and I have nothing but good things to say about the Douraki Winery <3 We had our wedding reception at the winery in June and we got to feel all the hospitality and love from the staff and the family. We have to give a huge thanks to the entire Douraki family, and... More

We arrived 10min too late for our tasting tour because Googlemaps had give us an incorrect journey duration. Nevertheless, a young woman gave us a private tour. We saw the whole winery, the cellar, too, and she explained a lot to us. Her English was with a strong Greek accent but understandable. The Dourakis winery is a small building carved... More

Dourakis is a small family owned winery situated just outside the small village Alikampos. They have 10 employees which tells you that this is not a large industry but instead a vision that it is driven by passion for good wines. We booked a tasting through mail which included a tour of the wine cellars and a introduction to the... More

Happened to pass an idyllic vineyard and stopped. Got a warm welcome, and got to taste white, rose and red wine of excellent quality. This wine, I had to bring home. So my suitcase was filled up and become very heavy, Now I'm looking forward to sharing very good wine with my friends in Norway. Heard that the winery organizes... More

Dourakis winery welcomes you with generosity and hospitality thorugh the people who workes there, as well as through the cosy architecture of the buildings and the garden. The area emerges more cuddly than flashy! It is like coming to a home where people live and work in harmony with their desire to make good wines. We will certainly visit Dourakis... More

We stopped by on our way to the Imbros gorge and got a spontaneous wine-tasting by the owner, who happened to speak german very well (what a relief ^^) and who let us sample the most delicious wines (Kudos Malvasia, Cabernet Sauvignon and dessert wine Euphoria... Our winery tour took us through the processing areas, underground cave for storage, experimental projects and the tasting room. The experience felt more like a personalized tour given by a friend than a formal corporate affair, as many wine tours are. The wines we tasted were good and some were excellent - and sitting around a table, tasting with the... More
