We went to Henry Miler Memorial Library, We visited the bookstore. It is also a performance and art center. Henry Miller was a Big Sur Resident. His best friend named the library after him. It is now run by a non-profit organization.

This "memorial" "library" is on a great little piece of land, but it feels like it embodies so little of the man it was named after, aside from photos and memorabilia, albeit interesting stuff at that. The employee's sense of superiority was palpable, we simply...More

We were so disappointed by our visit to this Memorial Library , or so called, attraction. Parking is poor, it is just a room full of books for sale, by interesting authors but it is NOT a memorial library. There are gen Ys all over...More

This library is just so unexpected here. Stop to look around and learn more about Miller and his life outside of Paris.

I loved it. It's small and quirky so for some people it won't be their bag, but if it is, you'll like it a lot.
