When traveling on HWY 1, this is a must stop and see. One of the most famous and photographed sections of PCH. Be safe pulling off the road and walking around; it's busy and there are plenty of cars that aren't slowing and stopping so be careful! An iconic spot, view, and photo all await.

Stunning view going over the bridge but it's over quick. The entire coastal drive is awesome and there's lots of places to pull over and take pics.

The landmark of the highway 1 drive. A must.. Be careful around the cliff, it's a long fall.. Covered in smog when we passed, but still great. This is were you take the trips most important selfie ;)

This bridge is beautiful! Don't just drive over it. Pull over and stop at scenic spot to get great photos. Observe rules and don't go beyond barriers. Be safe.

The area and this bridge is breathtaking! I was in town for the Big Sur 10.6 miler and was so disappointed that the course did not cross this bridge, need to do the 21 miler and marathon to do that! Luckily, we were able to drive HWY 1 to stop by and cross over the bridge the day before. The... More

This is, of course, a world famous bridge. When I'm near it, I think of the Big Sur marathon runners and how spectacular it is for them.

This is a remarkable structure and to pass it by without taking a picture would be regrettable. One of the longest single concrete spans in America. The view of the coastline from either end is stunning. Be careful opening the car door if the wind is up (which it usually is). The door was ripped from my hand and papers... More

High overlook of ocean and Bixby bridge. Nice pull off road for viewing from cliff. Great engineering feat over the wide span.

I love bridges, but this one takes the cake with the aqua water below! Find a place to pull over and then get out and marvel at this gorgeous bridge with the beautiful background of the ocean!

While traveling south from Santa Cruz along this coastal drive I stopped, as many sure stop, to take in the natural beauty of this area. I felt a great internal peace driving unhurried and stopping many times. I will return.....
