This is a nice walk through a grass lands area with may flowers near the bluffs that overlook the ocean at and north of Sand Dollar Beach. Beware: there is a lot of poison oak and maybe it is the season but I have never seen so many ticks. On getting to the car I picked 6 off my pants. When I was able to take them off and look behind and inside the pant, my shirt and coat I found 8 more. The next morning I found 4 more around or on my clothes and one that I had missed in my car.

Take the entire loop starting at the ranger station. You will traverse through what appears to be an old ranch to views that you will appreciate and treasure. You will also get a glimpse of sand dollar beach which is also a must see.

We pulled off the Highway to view the scenery from the top. It was just so beautiful that words cannot do justice.

Simple trail out to the bluffs and beautiful scenery. Only bad thing was our dog came out with ticks all over. Spent the next few hours getting them off her.

This drive was amazing! It was something I have always wanted to see, and I did not feel let down. Quite the opposite.
