Worth the stop when anywhere near here, plan to visit. The Pioneer brand beauty and health products are wholesome and well made. The honey is delicious. We stayed an extra half hour during a down pour of rain and enjoyed a great chat about Bees, Nature, Pesticides, Organic farming and several other subjects. So gracious and so informed! This is the epitome of Buy local! Honey has "terroir" just like fine wines. Perfect opportunity to Buy from local farmers and beekeepers! Just a lovely happy shop.

For anyone heading out of Toronto on a day trip, this place is worth stopping at. It is kind of a strange mix of different influences. A lot of the more exotic honeys here are actually bought from a different importer at St. Lawrence Market and then resold here. There is local honey though which is really good quality. Overall the place won't be much of a detour but it is still worth a few minutes to look around at something a little different.

This is an amazing place with a lot of history. The family-run operation has a great reputation and really knows their stuff. Andre Flys is a respected expert in the beekeeping community and his knowledge is second to none. The products are great and very good for you. Staff can offer a wide variety of honey blends to try. If you like natural honey, you must stop in here.
