If you go all around the Lake you will notice that this spot has great potentials. Salò is one of the best spot and if you reach Toscolano Maderno thee are some good place where you can stop for the whole day. You must visit il Vittoriale, house of the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio or enjoy a day at the lake... More

Perhaps the most beautiful town of Lake Garda, Salò offers a walk along the lake that runs along almost its entire gulf. The inner street is characterized by shops, whereas the promenade offers restaurants and bars for cocktails or dinner on the gulf. Salo is easy to reach by ferry, from Desenzano or from the oopsite side, the Verona side.... More

lake garda is without doubt a beautiful place; the lesser known bresciano side is to discover . Interesting is also the inland area - mount rust is great - we spent a long weekend on the lake visiting all the typical sites - catullo, sirmione, vittoriale - but the best things were the farms, the scenery, the small restaurants. When using the lake ferries to get around, consider using the `Rapido` service. Sure it costs a bit more but you get to see more places on the lake in about the same time as it takes to go from Garda to Malcesine on the ordinary (and often hot and packed) ordinary craft. its a good way to spot destinations...
