This was yet another stupid little Andorran museum we felt obliged to visit. It's not as if Andorra is known for miniatures! There should be a Smuggling and Brigandry Museum. That would be real.

I stumbled upon this beautifully presented museum in Ordino, Andorra and was fascinated by it. The introductory videos set the scene well and the microscope based display of minute pieces of art is incredible. It is hard to rationalise just how these pieces of art...More

This museum has to be one of the best and interesting of all the attractions in Andorra. Absolutely amazing miniatures that one can only see with a microscope and yet all have been fashioned by hand by a famous Ukranian miniatures artist. In addition to...More

I was extremely surprised when I opened a door of this museum and saw a lot of Russian nesting dolls called Matryoshka inside. I live in Moscow and they are not interesting for me. But after climbing to the upper floor I changed my mind....More

This museum is small, but where it excels is some lovely, amazing miniatures that can be viewed through microscopes. Really quite amazing things from signatures on the tip of a human hair, though to the pyramids of Giza with a caravan of camels inside the...More

This is a wonderful museum that was advertised on a billboard and we took the bus up to Ordino to visit it. Incredible, amazing and more. No one else there but us and the lady was friendly. We would definitely go again.

Need Some Suggestions On What To Do (1 Reply)
Hi I have posted a few posts already but have since changed, tweaked and updated my itinerary and still have gaps. I won't be visiting any museums or go on many historical tours and I'm not into things such as art galleries, historical museums. I'll list a few attractions I am visiting to give you a jist of what I am into. Generally looking for a few quirky, bizarre, fun places/museums Things I'll be doing: Grusellkabinett mauerpark flea market Tour of Spree Park Madame Tussauds ...More

If you are into quirky stuff go on "alternative" tour with Sandemans (or similar). They show you the non-traditional side of the city, graffiti murals, squatters, etc. My son went with Sandemans, was quite happy. You may find someone else.
