A group of us visited here for lunch on Easter Saturday whilst doing the mineral tramways cycle path (you can lock bikes up at the back). The food was fantastic, great vegetarian options and very good quality. There was plenty of seating inside and there's a lovely terraced garden at the back. Friendly service and good value - highly recommended!

Have been here a couple of times for lunch. I had moules marinere (starter portion), and my husband had a 'child's portion' of scampi and chips. Okay, so it wasn't the cheapest, but I have to say both dishes really, really delicious and plenty enough for us for lunch. there were a few occupied for monday lunch - some had... More

We had a fantastic Christmas dinner here with more food that even the guys could handle. Our table for 12 was beautifully decorated and each and everyone of our group had brilliant comments about the dinner and the evening in general. Thank you Hannah and John.

I had heard many conflicting reports about this pub. It turned out the many reports were far too kind. As far as pubs go it is well placed in a quiet village with water views and I am sure is well frequented by the locals because it seems to have a good range of beer and one or two interesting... We originally visited in autumn 2014 and thought, 'Wow, what a find, a great, gastro lunch'. I've checked and am amazed I didn't review the pub at the time. As we were staying close by we thought we would give it a go for an evening meal. We had walked 12 miles earlier in the day so thought a good... More

The Old Quay Inn (which is a pub not an "attraction" as Trip Advisor seems to think) is a really nice local pub with some really excellent food. I've been here multiple times over the years for an evening meal and have always been impressed with the quality of my food. Dogs being welcome in this pub make it great... More

Made the trip especially for our final meal before departing for home. Trying to park was difficult due to limited spaces once inside didn't look any busier than any other restaurants we have been in but was told we would have to wait 50 mins for food, ok we waited over an hour. We ordered three drinks and was never... More

Intended to eat here on a Sunday evening, we ended up leaving after a drink, the member of staff we saw was pleasant and helpful, beer was ok. We chose to sit in the terraced garden. I don’t know if they had been busy that day, but the place looked pretty un-kept, glasses everywhere and dirty marked tables. We chose... More

We have driven past the sign highlighting the way to this place many times whilst on holiday but always headed for the usual well known tourist traps around the Fal. Having read recent reviews we made a lunchtime visit today and were pleased we did. Staff were welcoming and beer and food were very good, at a reasonable price. The... More
