In this course you learn how the wine is tasting before you taste it. Using yor eyes and nose can do the trick. Knowing the wine is a chianti will be helpfull. So tasting is nothing more than a conformation of your thoughts. Doing some blind tasting is very challenging, perhaps it is the same wine as the first one?

We had the sommelier course during our stay at the hotel Relais Vignale in Radda in Chianti.
During this course, we learned more about how wine is made, the Chianti region and Chianti Classico wine and how to truly taste wine. Next to that, we got an introduction how to pair food with wine.
Would do it again.

Spent an absorbing hour and half learning about the wine tasting process and Chianti wine region. It was very interesting, staff friendly and informative. Would highly recommend.

We visited Castello San Donato in Perano and also did a wine tasting class. It costs around $40 dollars or so per person and it was very well worth it. They teach you the basics of wine tasting which answered alot of questions I had about wine. The wine is great and the cost is very affordable. Definitely recommend this place. The staff is also very friendly.

Some nice Chianti poured by a very friendly guy with good knowledge. I had some questions that the guy pouring didn't know off the top of his head but he made a point to email the winemaker and tracked me down in the hotel when he had an answer. I would visit again.
