This unique talk on bio and chemical free gourmet extra virgin olive oil, given by Matteo, expert as well as one of Chianti's premier olive growers, is a chance to learn how the best oil is made and why it requires careful handling at each step of its production. The talk is given at the Lombardi Estate tasting room, surrounded by his 4,000 olive trees. This is also where the stone frantoio (olive press of which this is one of only 14 presses in Tuscany) is located, so you will be able to see the stone grinding wheels and press that delivers the oil from the olives.

Seminars and tours are UPON REQUEST.

While in Italy last Spring, we visited this lovely farm and sampled their delicious olive oil. Before leaving, we completed an e-mail address card, and were assured that we would receive a e-order form in July, so that we could order(and receive) bottles of olive in time to use as Christmas gifts. Unfortunately, we never received a order form. Nor... More

Dear Pamela, Thank you very much for your review and for your appreciation of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Customer satisfaction is one of our primary goals and we are very sorry to read that you have never received our email with the e-order which we have sent out, as we do every year, in early October. We have checked... More

Pornanino is the best kept secret in Chianti. It is a small family owned olive oil farm with accommodations if you would like to stay a week or so to tour Chianti and Tuscany or just stop by for a visit. Yes, the olive oil is great, but the best thing about Pornanino is that it is owned and run... More

We were introduced to Pornanino's olive oil in 2008 and it is the only olive oil we use for salads, etc. We order the oil directly from Pornanino and each year several friends ask us if we can get some for them too.

We visited the Radda location several years ago and have been a purchaser of their product since then. The oil arrives in early December and my relatives look forward to the annual allotment of liquid gold. It makes a great Christmas gift.

My wife and I spent an amazing and memorable summer day with Matteo at Pornanino. The olive farm is charming and truly a unique spot in the world. The attention to detail and love of the product is evident in everything about the farm. We now order a case of the oil each December and give it to our close... More

We have been associated with Pornanino for the past 8 years. Staying with them is ALWAYS one of our favorite pleasures. But being able to relive our experiences in Tuscany and the beautiful setting of their olive groves all year as we enjoy their olive oil is an added bonus. We receive a case of their olive oil every fall.... More

I and others that have received their olive oil from me agree that their olive oil is the best Italy has to offer but more importantly is the friendship extended to all guest from Franco and Francesca.

This may have been my favorite outing in our 3 weeks in Italy last summer. The host is the family that owned the farm, and his insight to olive oil was very enlightening. Extra extra virgin, cold press, first press, opaque glass bottle only! Their olive oil is better than fresh butter on bread.
