My wife and I have visited many wineries in California and Washington, but this was our first winery in Italy. I believe our guide’s name was Hilary, and she was fantastic. Her English was flawless, and she was warm and friendly. The winery is completely organic, and we saw a state of the art wine making facility. We were served a light lunch, which was delicious. We started with their Spumante, which was excellent. Their signature wine is Chianti, and we tasted Chianti Classico, Reserva, and Gran Selezione. Each was different, but they were all delicious. There was also a white wine, Vermentino, I think, and it was also very good. The tour and the wine tasting exceeded our expectations, but what stands out in my opinion was our guide. Ms Hilary did an outstanding job!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Colle Bereto! Our tour guide was fantastic. She was very informative, lively and personable. Colle Bereto is beautiful on the inside and had fantastic views outside. I highly recommend visiting. You must have an appointment.

The winery was closed but when we showed up a wonderful Italian woman who didn't speak English unlocked the cellars and tasting room and welcomed us in to see and taste. We managed to communicate enough to purchase a few bottles of the delicious Reserva and will treasure this visit always!

So this winery was booked for a private tour and lunch for one of three wineries we would visit in a week long visit to the area. The vintner met us early in the morning and we began our tour from the grapes to the vats to the bottle, we saw it all. The tour was informative , educational. We asked questions he answered each and every one of them. After the tour we went in for sampling. The wines were all good and distinct, I prefer a dry red and found the Chianti Classico was my favorite. The lunch we were served was served with a variety of wines. There were three couples and each of us purchases a number of bottles for consumption while on vacation. This tour was planned in advance and don’t think walk in tours are accepted. I would do this tour again in heartbeat.

We loved our trip to Colle Bereto - we made reservations the day before and lucked out, because they had an opening. We had a private tour, tasting, and lunch, which was one of the highlights of our whole trip in Italy. The vineyard was just gorgeous, and our host was kind and helpful with the tasting. The lunch was homemade and delicious - fresh ravioli, cheese & meat, and a ricotta with honey desert that was out of this world.

They let us hang out in the beautiful gardens afterward which was the perfect way to spend the afternoon.

Highly recommend!!!

Our host, Bernardo, provided an absolutely amazing winery experience. We have visited many wineries and this lands at the top of the list for its beautiful setting, cordial tour, breathtaking tasting room, unexpected meat and cheese boards and - yes- amazing wines. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can’t wait to return.

We’ve wine tasted throughout the world and this stunning vineyard in the heart of Chianti was one of the loveliest we’ve ever experienced. Our host Bernardo Bianchi was a charming and knowledgeable guide (and had the ladies in our group swooning) and explained the winery ‘s approach to both wine and olive oil production beautifully. The tasting room was incredible- candlelit and elegant- and the hard cheeses, salamis and hams they served (with fresh country bread natch) made for the perfect lunch. The wines were superb, and we all arranged to ship a selection home to the states. Can’t say enough great things!

Colle Bereto is a beautiful winery about a mile east (walking distance) of Radda in Chianti. It is difficult to describe how beautiful this winery is! If you have an image in your mind of what Tuscany should look like, this is it! The property is immaculately landscaped and the views are gorgeous. The cellars are spotless and evocative. On top of this, the wine tasting is excellent.
If you are in Radda, walking out to Colle Bereto on a beautiful sunny day to sample the pleasures of this beautiful winery is a wonderful experience! Don't miss it!

If you’re anywhere close by, you must visit this winery. It’s glorious inside and out. We had a tour and lunch with wine pairings and everything was lovely.
