A fantastic wine tasting - highly recommended. We booked the wine and cheese pairing, it seemed a bit extravagant at first but was worth every penny. The staff (Elonora I think) were fantastic - knowledgable, full of information and more than happy to help. We got a tour of the working part of the estate, and were allowed to walk through the vineyards. On top of that, they couldn’t have been more helpful when we bought a few bottles and needed to have them shipped back to the UK. The ‘B’ word has made that process so much harder and more expensive for everyone, but they were great.

On the road to Volpaia, close to Radda, we discovered this beautiful winery. It is actually a very recently established winery (since 2004) acquired by a rich Italian family. They built a brand new lovely estate in Tuscan style with state of the art wine making installation and cellars. The hospitality room/tasting room is very beautiful and professionaly managed by our host Linda. She gave us an full guided tour of the wine making installations and cellars followed by an extended wine tasting (great job Linda!). The Chianti Classico 2005 and 2007 were the best of the Classico's we drank that week (and we had quite a few ;-) ) and the Riserva 2007 just blew our socks off!!! What a wine!!! Needless to say we left the place very happily, proud of this new discovery and with a boot filled with wine. Oh, I forgot almost to say that the tour and tasting were FOC (as it should be!). We hope to return very soon!!!!

This might be the most impressive winery I have ever seen (and I have seen quite a few). On top of that the wines are very good and you get excellent value for your money.

The winery is located very close to Radda, which is a very nice small city with exellent restauants.

A small new vineyard but we'll worth a visit. Very friendly knowledgable staff who gave a very informative description of the wine produced at the vineyard prior to the tasting and then walked us through the tasting so that we really appreciated what we were actually tasting. Not too far out of town and on the way to volpaia so a visit here easily fits in with a trip to Volpaia.

My wife and i got into Radda later in the day and once settled into our accommodations wanted a wine tasting close to town late. We pulled into this beautiful new facility at 5:00 and got a private grand tour of the wine cellar and a ton of great information about the family, the wine and the process. The vino was excellent and prices were appetizing, we wound up having a couple cases shipped home. What a fantastic young winery!!!

We first found Castelli di Radda two years ago, and brought back some Chianti to 'keep'. The people were very friendly and we were offered various wines to try. `So on this occasion we went back to buy some more, and once again we were were given various years and types to try. Came away with 14 bottles...We didn't do a tour. The estate is in a lovely spot, nice and close to the hilltop village of Volpaia where you can get a really decent snack!

We received a tour of this fairly new winery from Angelika, she has to be one of the most knowledgeable staff I have encountered. She had worked in the wine business for many years, and it certainly was obvious. The winery was opened in 2008 I believe, so everything is new and state of the art. We arrived very close to closing time, but were treated as if we they had all day to show us around. The wine was also wonderful!

We were staying at the My One Hotel Radda and were recommended a trip to this winery. What a wonderful experience. We were greeted by a lovely German lady (sorry didn't get her name). She proceeded to give us a one on one wine tasting experience. During this the winery's neighbours came in to buy a whole heap of wine, it was lovely to chat to them and see that even the neighbours like the winery.
After our wine tasting she shut the winery and took us to the cellars for a tour and walked us through the entire process from picking to labeling. We bought a couple of bottles of Chianti Classico Reservi and were then allowed to walk around wherever we wanted so we went up to the top field to look at the vines from which our wine was made.
In all a very memorable experience, the only downside is we cant buy the wine in the UK. So I guess we will just have to go back.

We were four adults driving the Chianti region and we stumbled on this small winery with a lovely view and a wonderful tasting room. The staff was generous and knowledgeable and we purchased a great bottle of wine to take with us. It's a little off the beaten path but more than worth the trip.

This winery is quite new and their facility looks it. However, we thought their wines were top notch. No cost to do tasting.
