We booked a tour without knowing much about Albola but only because our hotel receptionist recommended it. Once we got there we had the surprise of finding ourselves surrounded by a stunning view. The tour was held by this super professional young woman of Indian origin who knew alot about wine and wineries and was able to explain us in detail everything about Albola. After that we had a really good lunch mostly consisting in local products and tasted some of the wines with an occasional refitof our favorites. All in all I would come back with all the pleasure.

Enjoyed a superb lunch here with wine tasting as part of our Chianti Classico tour with Azzurra from Viaggi d’Ambra followed by a fascinating tour of the cellars. Lovely friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

We, our group of 20 people, visited the winery for a tasting. We had a fantastic tour, also were able to see the old garden and the villa (from outside) but it was worth it. The wine cellar was also interesting as you do see not just the "normal" wine also the cellar for the sweet wine and they explain how they are producing it. Was very interesting and and the end, the tasting was also ver good.

We were greeted by a lovely woman, I believe originally from Belgium who showed our group into the dining room. The beautiful table was set with white linen and delicate sparkling wine glasses. She explain the different wines to enjoy with our delicious meal. Afterwards we were lead to the cellar for a very informative tour, showing the different wines and different size barrels of wine. In one room was a gorgeous piece of art work made out of a part of an old barrel. We viewed the garden with its trimmed rosemary and enjoyed the breathtaking view of the surround hills and valleys with row after row of grape vines. I would highly recommend this extremely well kept winery and purchase some wine and olive oil. A wonderful way to spend a relaxing few hours.

We arrived at Castillo di Albola around 15:30 and we were welcomed by Carlos Alberto, a wine connoisseur. During 1,5 hour he gave us an exclusive wine tasting of their local wines. The combination of his knowledge and the delicious local wines made it a great experience. Afterwards we joined the wine tour through the cellars. For the price of €25 p.p. we had a great afternoon! They also sell their wines so I’d definitely recommend to buy a few bottles.
