Great Stop If Your In Salvador

I have been to the market in Cachoeira several times while in Bahia. We always stop by Roque Pinto's to grab a few bottles. If you like sweet, the Cupuacu is amazing. The bottles are pretty inexpensive too.

A most original liqueur "store" at ridiculous prices

I have bought all kind of liqueurs there many times.
You can find almost any local fruit in their liqueurs but also some more exotic flavours like chili or even chocolate. The owner let you try as much as you want (careful if you need to drive after the "tasting") and you may even visit the workshop.
An interesting place to visit if you want to see local artisans at work.
