We were a big group (14 people) and most of the group members were non-climbers, so we skipped Mt. Daraitan and went on the Tinipak River trekking and Cave. This was a safe choice coz it was fairly easy and the trail is good enough...More

You can skip the hike and go directly to the river or cave but I would recommend a visit to the peak of Daraitan. You'll get to see sea of clouds if you're lucky. The railings made the trek easy.

We spent 4 hours focusing all our energy and time trying not to get severely injured from sharp slippery rocks. No breaks, your break is an isometric squat on sharp rocks while sitting on a sharp rock. You have "trails" where you miss one step...More

Its a mountainous 4 hour drive from Manila. Along the way you can breath fresh air and the green sorroundings. Its a long walk going to the tinipak river itself but the view was great. You need to pay small entrance fee though for the...More

You do. Just don't go there if it's raining. Also the tour guide really just walks in advance. The trail, in my opinion, is not yet a trail. You might as well add broken pieces of glasses on their trail.
