This church is a beautiful oasis. Located in the ancient paths of the pilgrims that used to walk from here all the way to Jerusalem and the Holy Land, this was one of the outposts run by the Templars who were the keepers of the Saint Sepulcre in Jerusalem. Mny places like this one (not always churches) provided the pilgrims walking for thousand of kilometers with a place to rest and sommething to eat. Today the church has some of its original 9th century's remains, but it was rebuilt many times. The location is peaceful and a good place for meditation and praying.…
