Goa Jungle Adventure organizes canyoning (outdoor extreme sport, not a safari or sightseeing) tours in the jungle of Goa for both beginners and experts. Canyoning basically includes trekking, abseiling, cliff jumping, swimming and walking through river gorge. A minimum jumping ability (from cliff to deep natural pool) and good swimming skills is required. The trip starts in Palolem (South Goa - Margao 1 hour, Panjim 2 hours, Calangute/Baga 2 hours 30 by road). The participant has to be in good health (fit for outdoor sport activities and not overweight bmi <29 ).

Guys if you are looking to do canyoning for the first time this is the go to place, we were a group of 15 all sportive guys some extremely fit and some not, so this was our first time for canyoning it was mind blowing, it's an amazing team building activity, not your usual choice but it's one to challenge yourself and break free! /
I have to specially mention Luke, Max & Nico for the amazing experience, guiding a team of 15 is not easy and they did it so well, y'all rock!
1. Don't wear sports shoes not gonna help you, Hiking or trekking shoes will help as the surface you will be treading is muddy, gravel, climbing up hill and downhill, in case you don't have the right shoes don't worry they have all the gears, so ask them for the size and they will give you, along with wet suit, helmet, harness & most imp life jacket.
2.The trek was clearly briefed as we go through a forest about wildlife and plants to watch out for, some species to avoid touching & incase you get lost what to look for, perfect!
3. We had never done abseiling and their technique to teach us was pretty straight forward and easy peasy to grasp! (All first timers aced it, key : listen & pay attention to them)
4. The jumps are all precise, their presence & guidance and expertise will calm you down, take a deep breath and keep an open mind to confront your fear
5. Don't carry anything excess, shades, mobile, valuable, if you have a water resistant/proof bag/ box do so only then, else you will be distracted! Dump it in the bag given to carry all of ur equipments.
6. Carry some cash, if you want some fruits to eat on the way to the activity, after the activity you will be hungry AF! Carry cash.
7. PS : follow their guidance every step of the way and you will make it, you are in their office and these boys know every rock and pebble, the canyon is gorgeous, get ready to get mind boggled!
8. Pay additional and they will click your pics from angles you won't be able to reach! If you have your own go pro carry it but don't lose it!

Amazing trecking ! We walked through the beautiful jungle with so many species of exotic plants, our guides Luk and Nico were explaining everything on the way, and made us feel very safe, they are so fun and you will learn a lot from them. We got to see Monkeys and a big impressive spider !! And at some point we arrived to an amazing blue lagoon with a big cascade in the middle of the wilderness ! We stayed there a lot of time swimming in the cristal water and bathing under the cascade. Luk will take you to some jumping spots and some natural pools upstream he is amazing :) This is an exclusive trecking, you can only get to this waterfall with this agency. Definitely do not miss it !

Goa is bigger than the beaches, massages, and bars. There's a fabulous interior of outstanding jungles unique to the foothills of the Western Ghats. To experience Goa truly, you should take a day's break from the waterside relaxation and head inward.
Going with the guys at Goa Jungle Adventure is the probably the only way to really do it justice. They are absolute experts in the area (really I don't think there are any other guides that know the landscape as well), and they have Canyoning trips catered for everyone from beginners to experts that include fun jumps, slides, trekking, and abseiling/rapelling. Our guides Max and Luke were total pros. The owner Emanuel is fantastically interesting - if you stop by his offices and he's got some time, ask him for a tour of his gardens!
Worth noting that even though in March the water levels are low, these guy know where the SPRING-FED waterfalls are, which means they run year-round, unlike most of the other falls in the area that are only seasonally active after the monsoons.
This trip inspired us to improve our Canyoning skills, so when we return we can take on the really challenging stuff for the experienced only!

The drive up the mountains in the vintage open-top Jeep is an experience in itself, and the canyoning even better. Max is the ultimate guide; someone you trust entirely with your safety but also makes the day really fun with extra challenges and a laid back approach. Stopping to introduce us to the best omelette sandwich and street food stalls on the way back was a bonus. Highly recommend.

From the beginning of our interactions, Emmanuel's company exuded competence, sensibility, and honesty. Emmanuel himself is a very interesting person with a clear passion for trekking, canyoning, and exploring the jungle. From what I've heard, the trails are his own creation and he found little known paths to hundreds of hidden waterfalls and streams. Despite his clear adventurous nature, he keeps himself grounded and emphasises keeping patrons safe while exploring the lush Goan jungle. His staff are second to none. Max and Xander (our guides) were professional, highly experienced, and, above all else, VERY fun and personable. They encourage people according to their abilities and always kept safety as a priority. Canyoning with Goa Jungle adventures was a highlight of my trip to India and is something I will look back upon fondly. I would love to canyon again in the future. However, I would be very lucky to again have guides as good as Max and Xander. Highly recommended

Max and Luke were informed, professional and amusing. The equipment provided was sound and I felt totally safe in their hands and with their calm and gentle guidance. I felt very confident in all we did but equally no pressure to do everything, so some of the jumps that I didn't feel I could do was met with understanding and support. You need to be moderately fit as there was lots of hiking up into the jungle (which I loved) and you need to know how to swim, albeit short distances. You can really push your limits if you want and even if you didn’t do all the jumps, the trek through the jungle and the abseiling was worth the money alone.
The views were outstanding and it was actually quite refreshing to go on a trip with minimal items (literally a spare t shirt) and just be in the moment and enjoy it rather than constantly reaching for your device to take pictures. (If you are a person who simply must have evidence to post on Instagram then you can pay for photos if you want the guides to take them for you) We ended the trip with a much needed stop off for food and a drink I don’t think I have ever tasted such delicious street food for such a small price.
Thank you to the team for such fantastic day. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to do something a bit different whilst in Goa.
Negatives - I have had the song 'I'm Like a Bird' by Nelly Furtado stuck in my head for weeks - thanks Max!

We had such a fun canyoning experience. We have gone canyoning a few times before in France but this was a particularly memorable experience because of the beautiful jungle surroundings, the fact that there were not tons of other canyoning groups, and the diversity of obstacles (including cliff jumps, caves, rappelling, etc). We also appreciated our guide, Max, who was super cool, instructive and made us feel extremely safe. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a day experience away from the beach to see another side of Goa!

This was an awesome trip, loved the open top jeep ride to the canyon, the canyon itself is really scenic and the little hike there was fun too. The canyoning was great fun and a big adrenaline rush with the abseils and jumps. Our guides Max and Nico were super encouraging, made me feel really safe and they kept it fun, making us do ridiculous things like the 69 slide. Would recommend!

Fabulous. You could not ask for a better adventure in goa and this company is the perfect guide for it. It was mind bending in every way and was truly one of the best experiences we've had. You'll realise the price is very very reasonably priced, this activity abroad would cost you a LOT more and the effort he puts into making this trip possible is priceless.
I plan to make many more trips with goa jungle adventure.
Please make note that it isn't a walk through the jungle; it requires a little stamina, basic swimming and an appetite for real adventure. But you're in the best hands for it.

I would recommend canyoning with Goa Jungle Adventures to everyone who's seeking a little adventure in Goa.
You start your day with a Jeep ride into the jungle and after a little bit of treeking you reach the canyon. Our guide Max described every detail and made sure everyone understood what they have to do, jokes included. He gave everyone the time they needed and made sure everything is safe. Might that be because of slippery rocks, spicky plants or untied shoes, he paid attention to everything.
We had an amazing day and would definetly come back.
