You'll find great trails, beautiful views of the valley, caves, and the infamous Janela do Céu (Window to Heaven waterfall). Worth a day trip, at the very least. The weather can change drastically in the mountains - so check the forecast before you go!

This national park is nice but has are few severe problems. In order to get there one need to drive 25 km of terrible dirt mountain road, which take 1.5h at least not counting the rest of the way. There is no information point at the entrance of the park. One have to go more than 1km to information center... More

We stayed for three days at the park. Every day we went for trekking in good trails, with plenty of signs telling you were you have to go, how long and what you will find. There several waterfalls, beautiful views of the valley and if you like bird wacthing is also something to do. Loved the experience.

The Ibitipoca State Park is well kept, safe and easy to visit. There are beautiful waterfalls that are easy to reach even for people with more difficulty to walk. For the ones who like more challenging hikes there are plenty of options with caves, hidden waterfalls and the amazing "Janela do Céu" (Sky Window), something you don't want to miss.... More

Wondeful . A well protected State park. Lots of nature and silence..friendly people living in the surrounding Ibitpoca village..with around 300 habitants..\Worth the visit if you are in the State of Minas Gerais..The closest airport is a smal one in the city of Juiz de Fora or Rio de Janeiro Airport and then by bus or car towards the city... This is a great park. One day is not enought to visit all the trails that the park offers. A lot off watterfalls, caverns, nature and beauty. The longest trip takes almost a day! Be prepared with sunscreen and clothes :)

The best place for ecotourism. A must go travel for those who enjoy walking offroad. Yes, you walk a lot in this park, but the waterfalls, the beautiful landscapes you'll see compensate your effort
