About
“White rock” bear shelter, a rehabilitation center where everyone can see and hear the stories of bears rescued from the terrible conditions of circuses and restaurant menageries. Animals that for the first time in their lives are learning to live a real bear life: swim, run on the grass, climb trees, get food, hibernate.

Animal lover? You are likely to have the same questions I had before my visit to White Rock:
- Is it like a zoo?
No. Several things make it different. There are only bears, and the place was built to be comfortable for the bears. Besides, your time is limited to two hours. However, these two hours fly unnoticed. Most of the bears do not mind visitors, so you can even see them playing with each other. And humans never fail to warm up your interest with bearish stories.
- Can I see cute bears there?
Yes, you can! And you will. These bears are well cared for. Their living conditions are close to the natural ones; they have a healthy diet and the best medical care. Hence, they do look good.
- What kinds of bears are there?
There are two rare Asian bears - an Asiatic black bear and a white Tian-Shan bear, three European brown bears, and two brown bear cubs. Hurry up to see the babies, they grow quickly!
- How do I get there?
Do not make my mistake searching for all sorts of routes on the Internet. Just go to Kharkivska Metro Station on the green line and take bus 317-A there and get off in Chubynske in 10 minutes. Look for the equine club Mahnat

Bears hibernate in winter, however, winters are short and warm here in the Kyiv region. The
