The stables are a 5 minute drive from Quillan, or a 15 minute drive from Limoux.The owner/trail riding guide speaks fluent English and French and she caters for beginners, through to experienced riders.The horses are suitable for all levels of rider and the lessons/trail rides can be tailored to individual levels. You can ride up into the mountains, the Plateau de Sault, chateaux, Rennes le Chateau or le Pic de Bugarach.

I was looking for a place to start riding again after a back injury and found not only wonderful horses, but training and friends. The people at Brezilou are fabulous and the trekking was beautiful, though I was more interested in the equitation classes I took, which helped me work on my seat and slowly get back into the saddle after almost 2 years out. I genuinely recommend working with Veronique for equitation, as well as if you want to have a fun trek through some tremendous French countryside.

I booked this trip with Veronique before leaving the UK for 3 young people 19,16,16
Communication was great with veron and although we arrived on the day without the correct riding clothes she was very understanding and waited for us to return from the market with an interesting selection of clothing.
2 of of the group had no experience but 1 had but had not ridden since a bad fall and she lacked confidence.I explained all this to Veron and she was fantastic in organising them all before setting off and giving extra reassurance when needed. Although I didn't join the party the reports from them were that it was a highlight of their holiday and they loved every minute of it.
We would definitely recommend Veron and her team if you want a memorable experience

Veronique! I visited you and went riding with you and two others seven years ago! Are you still doing the rides and giving lessons? I am getting a trip together to and want to come to Quillan to visit a couple of friends there. I also was looking for your website, which featured many photos, including a fantastic picture of a group of your riders wearing black capes and masks! Would like to see that photo again! Please advise and best wishes, Anneliese
