    Easy walk, great views
Probably one of the easiest walks in the Grampians. It is fairly level for the 2km return trip from Reeds Lookout car park. The gravel path is clear and wide. The views are amazing in both directions. There are some interesting rock formations en route. It is no longer (not sure if it ever has been!) permissible to sit on the rocks at the Balconies as there are high fences blocking access. There are no public facilities at the car park, eg. toilets, water.

Breathtaking view of a sea of trees
A 40 minutes walk round trip for us as we’re a little unfit. It is a one km walk to the balconies from the car park. Really beautiful and breathtaking view of a sea of trees. Passed by many toilet bowl looking trees that made me very urgent. Come here if you have some time to spare.

One of the main attractions in Grampians
My wife and I visited this place during our recent holiday in Grampians where we stayed for 3 nights in a holiday Villa. This is a very easy walk from the car park. Along the track, it is scenic and at the Balconies, the panoramic views are spectacular. We have been here a few times over the years and will visit again in future.

Not much to say...except the view is fantastic and worth the trip. Im only saying more because the site wants more words!....You won't regret the trip to get here. We went via McKenzie falls which were also excellent.

Start from Reeds Lookout car park, take another easy 2 kms. return walk through rocky outcrops to arrive at the Balconies. The lookout offers panoramic of Victoria Range, Lake Wartook and Mount Difficult. Spectacular views.

This was one of my favourite walks at the Grampians. It's not a difficult walk but it stunning...I love the balconies. This walk is suitable for all fitnesses and abilities. Native shrubs, trees, flowers line the walk... but there are incredible rocks everywhere that you feel you should explore.

When you get to the end of the walk there are amazing views of Victoria Valley and mountains. The Balconies are an amazing rock formation consisting of two platforms stretching out over the valley.

To reach the Balconies you must park at the Reeds Lookout, so you may as well check out that view first. Next, you’ll have a short 2km stroll setting the tone for the area. You will walk through lush greenery, often having glimpses of nearby mountain ranges and unique rock formations.

A short drive out of Halls Gap, head to Reeds Lookout car park, and then take the easy, reasonably flat 1k walk for a jaw dropping view of the ranges to be marveled at. One of the rewarding and easy Grampian walks.

Part of a driving trip, which includes McKenzie falls and Reeds lookout. It is a 1km walk, on a flat track. It seems a bit longer but checked, exaxctly 1km on our GPS. Great views, if you don't like this lookout, you must have something wrong with you.

Great place to watch the sunset. It's a 1km walk form the carpark to the Balconies and the "jaws of death". Along the way there are great spots to stop and take a photo. Just don't be THAT tourist who wanders off the path into areas that have clearly been marked for you not to enter. Great that you want to be an Instagram hero in your photo, but you're ruining the scenery for everyone else!! This is a beautiful national park, please respect it.

A pretty little 1km walk from the Reed Lookout carpark will lead you to The Balconies. Make sure you check it out because the views from here are absolutely stunning! There are two lookout points here and the view is worth every step you take to get there! A must visit if you're in the Grampians!
