The fern house - the largest in the world - is fabulous and I instantly wanted to have one in my garden. On a serious note I think Ripponlea should be listed as a Melbourne attraction as I had to Google to find it TripAdvisor.

The house and gardens are glorious. At the moment there is an exhibition of clothes from "Miss Fishers' Murder Mysteries", which complement the house perfectly. Take the time to relax in the garden; take a picnic.

I revisited Rippon Lea House and Gardens a couple of months ago and it was just as wonderful this time as it was last time. We wandered through all the rooms, played dress-ups and worked out some of the mysteries. Certainly worth a visit.

We saw Miss Fishers exhibition curator tour which was fantastic. Even better (almost) were the house and gardens. Will definitely be back for another visit...with or without Miss fisher!
