We were blown away by this fantastic market, which is definitely the best one we have visited in Hungary (and possibly anywhere). Many stalls are in little wooden huts, and these are nestled within trees, so the heat is kept off your head for a lot of the time. Stalls have delicious food, many types of goods, handmade crafts and antique finds. There are lots of hand made ceramic items that we liked. It’s a shame we’re going home by plane, so we couldn’t buy more! I would definitely recommend a trip to Liliomkerti Piac and there are plenty of other interesting places to visit nearby.

The market had a great selection of locally produced arts and crafts. Places to eat or just have a coffee.parking was free and not far to walk.
Quite expensive as markets go here in Hungary but in a tourist destination so to be expected.

This place started as a small, independent farmers market where producers came to sell their own products from veggies to meats, from cheese to small hand-made clothes. Unfortunately later the whole thing cought some unwanted attention from tourists and "big sellers" so now it's a bit bigger than it should be with some sellers and attractions that are only for tourist bait. But luckily the real magic is still there with a lot of really nice and unique sellers, small wine and pálinka stands so it's still worth a try. Remember to arrive early (it's open only on Sundays) because parking slots fill up quickly.

I've been to quite a few markets, but it has to be said this is one of the best. Great mix of locally produced foods, wines and ironmongery, wood crafts etc. Very well attended so get there early. There are a couple of nice restaurants there too.

I visited during the high summer season, some of my comments may only be relevant in this context.
Pros: Many-many vendors with huge variety of goods, home made traditional/bio foods, handcrafted everything: clothes, furs, bags, pottery, you name it. Antiques. Food and drink to eat here. Occasionally folk musicians.
Cons: Being rather trendy, it is very crowded. Parking is a pain if you don't come early. The place is totally underdeveloped, there are some mobile toilets though.
All in all, this market is really nice and worth visiting if you are nearby in the region. Arrive early and bring cash.

I think it was one of the greatest small markets of all time! Now much bigger with more "business" and higher prices, but still acceptable. Its a great program to visit it on sunday, you can find true treasures also, and some expensive things, too. Be prepared for a lot of people, but let you enjoy the spirit and discover the secrets. You can park on the fields for 400 HUF/day.

This is the big one! Sunday mornings only. Locals selling nik-naks and antiques besides farmers selling all manner of fresh produce, local wines, arts, crafts (usual flea mkt stuff), street good (langos, crepes, kolbas). Prices are higher during summer vacation season, so bargain! It's great fun.

I have heard a lot about this Sunday market and as we were passing by we decided to stop.
I have never seen a market with such good quality product (food, flowers, books, antiquities, clothes etc...) and we bought some quality food and some clothes also.
I think next time we well spend a lot more time there. Because I am sure there will be a next time...
