They are spending a lot of money in this area. They have built a breakwater which makes for safer bathing. The beach was being worked on when we were there making access along the beach difficult. Best access is from the road at Rikko's Beach Bar.
The beach in front of the bar has sun beds and nice clean sand. The bar is a couple of steps from the beach. Great place to have a nice refreshing drink. Staff are very friendly. Chickens and Cats running around keep the kids amused. (the cats and Chickens seem to get along OK together). The shade is provided by Mulberry Trees which were in fruit. Somewhere different and quant.

We love swimming in the sea at this beach and then enjoying a delicious lunch at Rikko’s snack bar. The staff and owners there are so friendly and helpful and were especially kind to us on our October visit for which many many thanks. It’s a delight to see the same family/ people in the snack bar ( as well as the lovely dogs, cats, chickens etc ) on our twice yearly visits. We love the quirkiness of the assorted animals/ birds and general bric a brac in and around the trees in the snack bar. Swimming in the clear, comfortable sea waters alongside local Cypriots and other tourists is a delight we look forward to every year. Counting down now to our return in April 2023! Yamas!

Not breathtaking, but nice and clean, with many beach-bars, deck chairs and sun-umbrellas, and the Mediterranean.

This used to be a great beach, with many concessions running different style bars. Our favourite was La Playa, which had big padded comfortable beds and large palm fronded brollies giving a good depth of shade. The council banished the concessions and has had a go at modernising the facilities - which to be fair needed doing. However, what remains is a bland area with a few cheap brollies and beds and little soul. Some of the improvements are good - like clearing off the rocks to expose the sand and building wave breakers. But I miss the laid back vibe of La Playa and think there's room for something more upmarket. Fingers crossed for next year.

We were staying in a hotel nearby and decided to go to the beach. It is very close to the highway and stretches over a large area. Free parking space is available. Umbrellas and sunbeds are available for rent. We just had our own umbrella and chair. There were some sea weeds in the water, but overall it was very clean. It is a nice place for families looking for a nice to swim and spend time with the family. There are a couple of kiosks selling ice cream and beverages, but I am not sure whether they sell sandwiches. Not a place for people looking for loud music and that type of action.

Big changes here, sand, lifeguard, cafe/bars plenty free parking and of course sunshine, sunbeds etc. Easy to get to by car or bus.
Sit and watch planes come in to land and takeoff. Close to other bars and restaurants.
Worth a visit

Visited Geroskipou beach for the day. I agree with other travellers comments about the poor condition of some of the sun loungers, but we eventually found two good ones with a good size parasol.
The water is very clean and fairly easily accessible over the pebbles and shingle. Beach shoes recommended if you don't like walking over pebbles to get into the sea.
Didn't use the toilet facilities, but they did look a bit basic. The big negative and the reason for my low score is the litter on the beach. Cigarette butts, plastic straws, discarded wipes in the sand, especially where children are playing are not acceptable in this day and age!
I hope that any future development includes cleaning the beach up. Not a beach I will be going back to in a hurry.

Last year, we didn't find this beach too attractive. However, this time, after having a big disappointment from the dirty water at Coral bay, including Coralia beach, we came back here, and found a great beach, clear water, partly sandy area, and very friendly people, in the many bars along the beach. We made our day near the "Survival beach bar", which has some 20 sun umbrellas plus other sitting options. We were even offerred with small tubs to wash the sand off from our feet, before laying down on the nice, new sun-beds. It was worth the 20 minutes driving from Peyia (were we stayed), and if you don't use a car, there's a bus stop just ahead of the bar.

Although it was December and there had been a storm the day before, this is a very nice beach on the outside of Paphos. Great place to see the sun go down....

The beach is not very clean however 2 beds and a shade were only €7.50. We enjoyed a light lunch at the snack bar on the beach every day. The water is beautiful: great for cooling off as opposed to a luke warm swimming pool.

Hi
We're staying in the village of Mandria in September. From what I can tell there is a bus service that could take us to Geroskipou, does anyone know if there is a bus stop near the beach or where the nearest bus stop is?

Hi Clara,
You can try asking at Rikkos beach bar.
It's on Geroskipou's beach.
Try it's facebook page (can't add it to my answer due to Tripadvisor's rules.

This beach is about 2 km from your hotel. As soon as you exit the hotel's door you should go right and drive for about 2 minutes. Then you reach your destination
