551 reviews
Make the most of limited time in Thailand on a speedboat tour of the Phi Phi islands from Phuket. Traveling by speedboat means you spend less time at sea and more time exploring the white sands and crystal waters of the islands, home to the bay made famous by "The Beach." Enjoy free time to snorkel, sunbathe, and swim, and relish the convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off in Phuket.

But there isn't much of it. Unless you are a photo obsessive, you can easily walk around it all in an hour.

Visited here as part of a tour of Phuket island. Interesting Portugese architecture. lots of shopping opportunities with decent prices and service. We had limited time here but could have spent much longer browsing the various shops

Old Phuket Town is a place with a mixture of modern art along with traditional architectural and you can easily spend a good 2- 3 hours walking around this area. There are plenty of food options around here, ranging from street stalls, to Pubs and Cafes. You find that you are really spoiled for choices when you are walking around here. There are also lots of things to buy and shop, ranging from hand made souvenirs to clothing that is exclusive to Phuket and nice beach wears around here. The Phuket Old town gets a little more hyped up from 4pm onwards, so this might be the best time to drop by this place. With Grab, it's relative easy to come by here. Lastly, lots of nice walls and arts for OOTD shots, so influencers wannabes, you guys can just spam your OOTD shots around here!

If you are in the area, it's worth taking the time and walking around. The architecture is very very nice and colorful, and there are some nice places to eat and shop. But otherwise it's just a small area to walk around. If you are staying on the other side of the island, then I'm not sure it's worth the trip (unless you're searching for something to do). I was not there at night, so I don't know if things are different then. IF you decide to go there (and are staying on the other side of the island), then i would recommend taking the public bus. It picks you up from the street fronting the beach, takes about an hour, but only costs $1-2 dollars. It's a nice way to see the surrounding area and is very inexpensive.
