During our holidays in Phuket we had visited this waterfall located inside Khao Phra Thaeo National Park. Foreign tourists are required to pay 200 baht entrance fee for the forest. This small waterfall is located at a walking distance from the parking area just after the Gibbon rehab center. This is more of a natural mountain stream flowing over the rocks making a beautiful sight and not really a waterfall as such.

Lovely walk from the carpark at about 500M, not the 300 as stated. Shoes recommended although the walk is much less strenuous than many other waterfalls and has a path all the way up. Not much flow at this time of year but I suspect better once the wet season is in full swing. And just lovely to be in Phuket’s last rainforest.

Foreigners pay 200 baht per adult to get in. After parking the car the falls are about a 400 meter hike away. The trail is pretty good, so even our 4 year old didn't have any problems reaching the waterfall, which is by no means huge, but very pretty and serene, away from all the hustle and bustle of the cities.
Lots of Thai seem to come here for an afternoon splash, so don't forget your bathing suit! Even though they all seem to get up to the falls in flip flops, we would recommend a bit sturdier footwear.

A fairly short hike up to the waterfall through the jungle on an easy path, maybe 500m. The waterfall itself is beautiful and you can swim at the base. Cost 400 baht to get into the National Park but was worth it.

Great walk into the jungle along a path. Takes about 15 minutes to get to the waterfall. Not a massive waterfall but very fast running and narrow. Ends in a narrow swimming gorge. 200 baht entrance is ok. Helps the Covid recovery.

Nice beautiful surroundings. Not an easy trip on the way to the top to see the waterfall. However, once you're there it's worth the effort. There is a shop at the start of the ascent. Suggest you stock up on drinks! As you walk your way up to the top.

Nice small hike. My 4 year old was able to hike up to the waterfall and backdown again easily. It cost 200 baht per person to enter no matter what your age. The hike to the waterfall is around 15 minutes (we had three kids with us). On the way up you can make a stop see the Gibbons and a Hornbill bird. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes as it’s rocky and can be a little slippery. There are areas where you can swim. People were jumping into the water from rocks near the waterfall and were sitting underneath the waterfall.
There is a restroom there. You could take a picnic. You don’t have to get wet if you don’t want to. We came here the same day we were traveling.

We went with our 2 year old toddler so this review focuses on the experience with a young kid in tow.

Easy to find with signage from the main road, it was 200bht per person to enter the park (free for under 3s). Once you park be prepared for an uphill track to reach the waterfall, we were glad we went earl6 before the strong Sun set in. Best to wear trainers as its quite hilly, slippery at times etc. We had to carry our toddler up but managed fine we were just a bit out if breath on reaching it! Only around 10 min uphill treck which would have been far easier without a 2 year old to carry.

It was clean, picturesque and tranquil with pretty rock pools all the way up. The waterfall itself wasn't huge but very nice. Next time we'd take a snack to eat on one of the rock pool areas and spend more time relaxing and enjoying.

Locals swim here at the weekend too.

Top tip - take mosquito repellent and go early

It is a nice place to see . Start with a lake then you see the waterfalls when continue to walk to the higher land . Nice nature and mind relaxing there. You can swim too in the waterfall. But be careful on the entrance there is a man gives tickets we were 4 adults he said 1000 Bht and after he got the money before I ask for the tickets he closed our car door and ordered the driver to go . I discovered later the the ticket price is 200 Bht. So be aware of this. The place wroth to visit it.

Amazing National Park, you will need to wear good shoes as well as good eyesight to follow it. There are several drop pools all quite small but big enough to bathe in. The jungle closes in after a while but it's a cool and even romantic spot to visit if you are in that area. Is a popular recreational spot for islanders. They use the site as a picnic place and for a fun swimming, and if you expect to be there late afternoon take mosquito repellent as the jungle is quite dense. For as its 200 baht. Keep the ticket; you may need it later if you visit the other parks within the same day. The parking fee for cars 30 baht.
