Virtuous place to learn a bit more of UAEs history. Well maintained mosque and muslims are allowed to still pray and utilize the prayer facilities, which i find is amazing.

Nice for historic value, but not worth a trip if you are not already in Fujairah emirate. Good views from the tower/fort above

For those of the Islamic faith, this is an important Mosque to visit considering its age and religious heritage.
For anyone else, it is a beautiful building reflecting a simpler bygone era and very instructive re the area's history.

Oldest mosque in the world with interesting architecture. Very small and cute. We could not get in as we were not dressed in legs covering clothes.
Overall this visit takes very short time, nice stop to strech legs.

We visited this Mosque because its part of UAE history. Its small Mosque, but very interesting history of this place and very quite. We can see inside prayer room, because nobody there and we respect muslims rules. Near tower is nice place for view over surrounding area, sit there and enjoy every moment, especially in sunset!

The mosque stands back from the road at Biddiya (spellings on maps and signage varies, so be warned). It has unique architecture and apparently dates back to the 14th century. It is not open to non-Muslims, so don't try to get in if you are not of the faith. You can see the outside of the building from the gate. It is worth a stop if you are in the Khor Fakkhan area, and also for the views of the mountains from the watch tower on the promontory behind it.

Situated in the beautiful Emirate of Fujairah , with a small fort on a hill as a backdrop, its said to have been built by the followers of the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) more than 500 years ago or so, and is claimed to be the most ancient mosque in the UAE.

Very small, with a central pillar, and space for about 10 people for prayer, it is a unique mosque. We loved it as it is symbolic of the need to build a place for bedouins to perform their prayer, way back in the ancient times, and conveys the spirituality more than the modern mosques boasting of materialistic beauty.

An absolute visit , both for the mosque and the Emirate of Fujairah.

We enjoyed this day of our visit the most during our stay, as we covered 5 Emirates on that day,in the presence of a very special Emirati , who took much pride in showing us the real beauty of the UAE.

Great mosque which gives a rare insight into the art, architecture and customs of the time that has long since been forgotten. Ablution Well ,Prayer Hall,Mihrab, castle and the watch tower are some of the highlights of the mosque. You have to cover your body entirely for entering into the mosque, so take a note about it.
