Love this campground and have been coming here for over 30 years. Busy all summer but worth the reservation craziness to get a spot!

Gravel beach with not much sand. We met up with some relatives staying in the campground and one of their kids had got swimmer's itch. The beach was very busy. We didn't stay long as we prefer quieter, more private spots. This is a good location if you like very busy and popular beaches.

My family and friends had a wonderful time camping at this location. The water is nice and warm. Not too cold. There is a side where dogs are permitted and you are able to swim with your puppy. Very relaxing. Little to no mosquitoes. Campsites are privately set up. They're not overcrowded. You are able to get lots of privacy.... More

We came for a week to camp with another family with children similar in age to ours. Our double site was spacious enough for us both, with room for the kids to play. The best part was all of the forest between our site and our neighbours! Our kids took off into the "forest" and found their own hideouts, made... More

My husband and I love coming to the Shuswap for camping. The sites are very clean and the park is managed very well! They have 24 hour security, showers, flushing toilets, a seperate dog beach, a long beautiful public beach with clean swimming water, tons of biking trails, activities for the kids, and a huge grassy area to play sports... Just came back from 2 nights of camping here. The campsite was spacious with lots of trees to divide from other sites. We were at #81, across from the water tap and garbage bins which was nice, and short walk to the washrooms. The showers were surprisingly clean. Also glad to see fire pits and picnic tables at all sites.... More

No RV hook up and it's a far walk to the beach from most sites. The park itself is beautiful but the beach gets very crowded. If we were tenting again, this would be a first choice, but we usually look for somewhere with hook ups.

Had a great stay at the Shuswap lake provincial campground. Nice sites, with plenty of trees between most of them. Flush toilets too, which pleased some folks in our party. Weather was kind of crappy, but we'll be back.

One of our new favourite campgrounds. Beach and water beautiful. No crowding cause the beach stretches for awhile. Sites are well treed with plenty of space between for privacy. Shower house clean and plenty of hot water. Lots of bike trails to explore. There is no power but you can run your gen for a few hours in the morning... More
