The farm was not as big as I expected, but for a RM25 fee, it was adequate (I consider the fees worth it to keep the farm operating). I sensed that the farm is still trying to get back on its feet after suffering from loss due to COVID-19. The birds were separated according to age groups, and we were able to go around feeding and petting the birds. I would say that with more visitors coming, the farm would be able to sustain its operation.

You will get a short briefing before the start of the tour. Jovial guy - enjoyed chatting with him.
You can get close to the ostriches and feed them.
Can try the Ostrich Omelette.
The place needs a bit of upgrading.

Went to visit with my tour group. It is a good experience to get closer to ostrich, some of them roam around, can also buy food to feed them. It is not easy to own a business like that. Should give the owner some support. Hopefully it can have some renovation to make the place more attractive.

13/4/2021 public holiday for Malaysia in weekday. Brought my kids and wife came to Desaru for day trip. Due to CMCO public beach is closed and we change plan to visit this ostrich farm instead. After 20mins drive, reached here and found out it's closed. Truly disappointed that this farm was closed in public holiday

Went there last weekend for a visit, but got to understand that this farm is now closed. Such a disappointment for the kids as it does not seem to be updated anywhere online that it is currently closed. Hope it reopens soon, please do be aware that this farm is currently closed i guess till further notice.

Visited with my family and we had a great time. You can feed the ostriches by purchasing some vegetables.
There are a couple of free range ostrich that walked about freely. It was pretty awesome to be able to get up close with them.
Had the ostrich egg omelette which was yummy! We tried the plain one and the one with cheese. Just go for the plain ones. The cheese one wasn't that great.

We were a group of 7 (2 families), and after having read the reviews about the farm, we decided to go as we had children with and it was too short a weekend vacation to do anything big.
If you go during the monsoon season, like we did, then perhaps it is better to wear footwear which you don't mind getting dirty in, as the place was very wet and muddy and as with all places where many animals are kept, it does smell like a zoo. So, if you do not like wet, muddy and smell, then you can strike this off your to-visit list.
The place is situated off a small turn by the roadside. Entry ticket prices are ok. Once you've bought the tickets you will sit down for a short briefing about the farm and some trivia about ostriches and animals in particular, which I feel any 10 year-old with an inquiring mind would already know. Don't be fussy about cleanliness of the place because this is basically a roadside farm. During the briefing itself you'll be asked if you want a once-in-a-lifetime experience of eating ostrich omelette, original or with cheese. If you do choose to try, payment is made on the spot and you'll be given a token later to claim your by-then cooked egg (not the whole egg though, come on, it's an ostrich egg!).
The ostrich feed costs 2 ringgit, so I guess you can feed as many ostriches as you like as much as you want. On that note, there are also live chickens for sale on the premises. After feeding the ostriches, we were given a demo on how the egg is broken. I guess you could really go for that if your'e into it but it's not a big deal. The egg that was broken that day when we visited was the same egg that they cooked for us.
They would also try to sell you some facial stuff made from.....ostrich stuff, with the same gimmicks that come with trying to sell facial stuff. You know what I mean. Fall for that if you want.
Overall, I guess you could go to the ostrich farm if you have kids with you, or if you're really dying to feed or have a photo op with an ostrich. Otherwise, giving this farm a miss is not a big deal. At all.

The entrance and the route to the Ostrich Farm do no justice to what you can expect from the venue. Once in, the in 200+ ostriches in various stage of growth awe you!
Do spray insect repellent though...some sand flies can be expected. Call the farm in advance if they are expecting a group booking at the day you are visiting...as a talk and demo will be arranged. Otherwise, the farm operator will not bother to whip up a demo for small group of 2-4...
Try the ostrich cuisines at the farm....Ostrich omelette, steak, satay, soup,.....or buy some Ostrich souvenirs at the gift shop....great for a 1 hour stay...

I wasn t quite ready to splash RM20 to see some birds when i could pay same amt to see more birds at Jurong Bird Park or the KL Bird Park. When i viewed you tube i saw what i missed. From the commentaries below, it is really worth it. The shopfront does not do it justice.
As for food, also same operator, i paid Rm2 for a small (tiny toothpick of) satay stick of ostrich. we had a ostrich omeltte for RM10 and it tasted like ordinary like chicken eggs- so how can we tell if it is not the real mccoy. Ostriches do not lay an egg a day so you wonder if these are frozen eggs fried or fresh or plain chicken eggs.Check out the menu on my pixes
There are not that many places of interest elsewhere othan beaches so if you don t visit this farm i m not sure what else toto keep you occupied other than eating at sg rengit seafood restaurants.
Have fun at the farm and let us know of your visit
