This area used to be a laboratory. It is awesome to see what nature has done with it since it closed in the 60's. Sure worth a visit. I do advice you to use bug spray because the mosquitos in this area are very fierce.

The guided tour along the scale models of harbours and defenses against the sea was very informative. The guide had worked with these models himself, and knew many details. Quite a unique piece of Dutch history and a rare export product.
