A great day out for children and adults!
Super dzień dla dzieci i dorosłych!

It has so much to see and learn about the history of the Viking era and lots of activities for everyone to do. Archery, feed sheep, making a wish with an old pagan stone wishing well, minting coins in the ancient way! You can also take part in traditional knight combat training such as stilt walking, archery, tug of war and jousting! Afterwards you can be awarded your knighthood and get a certificate. They have good souvenirs in the gift shop. I would definitely recommend visiting this place! 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Directly outside the town of Czaplinek there is something that looks like an old settlement of ancient Slavs. It is in reality a modern reconstruction of such an old village. It gives lots of infoirmation about the big battle "the Poles" once fought against "the germans". The Poles won! Of course, in the 14th century or earlier there was no country named germany, and probably no formal Polish state. But who cares! It is all done in good fun - alas only in Polish, but a friendly lady could give us some explanations in English. Lots of school classes were there. Our holidays (may-june) coincided with the season for school classes on educational trips. We saw them at every tourist place. But gave the place charm!
Inside various artisans made products, and a big siege-machine was outside the walls. Wooden pallisades.
It is well wort a short visit if you are in the neighbourhood.
