Friendly, well experienced local crew and guides. Great small boats with sun protection, great house reef (Kri Eco Resort), great help and diving (never had to carry a tank). Prices are not cheap but also not a lot more than on the Maldives - we will def. come back!

Many of the today`s famous dive sites were discovered by Max and his team and retain the original names he gave them. The whole of his dive team are Papuan people. Many of them were previously fisherman that used highly destructive methods such as dynamite fishing or shark finning. Now they are amongst some of the most conscientious conservationists in... Papua Diging operates two resorts. The dive operations are of a very high standard l. Good boats and crew with a maximum of 6 divers per boat. There are extraordinary sites around Kri and the crew know them well. Inevitably there are some strong currents - they go with the remarkable numbers of fish. Hire equipmebtbis good and the whole... The diving in Raja Ampat was excellent. We were taken to differnt dive locations each day and each spot had it's own identity. The dive boats were well equipped and the guides and staff were great. With the unlimited diving package, you could easily dive 3-4 times a day. The food was provided buffet-style and there was plenty of it.... More

Papua diving is a reliable diving operator in the region, they operate from the island kri which had all the main diving sites at arms length 20 minutes max by boat. There is diving for all wishes from big sharks and manta to tiny pygmee sea horses that you can only see on the macro pictures taken. What makes papua... More

If you are in Raja Ampat and want to be in GOOD hands...then look no further. Papua Diving has two wonderful resorts...Sorido Bay (higher end) and Kri Eco (budget). I went diving with them for 1.5 weeks and it was such a fabulous time. They know the best spots and are super great about safety. As I said...don't go with... More

Just back from a month in Indonesia diving booked through Diverse Travel in the UK, another fantastic tailor made holiday, thanks Jim. Papua diving was absolutely fantastic. Dolvinus was our guide and he was excellent at finding the tiny seahorses on the reef (I believe Hippocampus pontohi) in addition to those on the fans (Hippocampus). There was diving for all... The diving in Raja Ampat is fantastic, and Papua Diving is a great resort-based dive center to be based from. The staff is lovely, guides are knowledgeable, gear is good, and I always felt safe. I saw a lot of different places & I was able to request my favorite sites to visit again before I left. Will definitely be... More

with so many dive places around the world, its rare for most people to go to the same resort more than once. Sorido Bay resort on Kri Island is one such place. This was our 2nd visit in 3 years, and we loved it just as much as the first time. Excellent resort accommodation, food, family setting with only 16... More
