We had a wonderful time here. They charged 150,000 Ruppiah or about $12 US for me because I'm white. Or from the US. Everyone else in the car got charged $.40. The road leading in to the park is strewn with garbage on both sides....More

This is more of a "how to" than a review since we had a hard time finding accurate up to date info and wanted to share our knowledge! This is the off-the-beaten-track, jungle experience you've been looking for. The best/easiest way to get to way...More

Way Kambas is a national park located in Lampung for elephants conservation. The location is far from the city and also the port with less signage on the road. It took 2-3 hours car ride from Bakauheni. And another 2-3 hours to Bandar Lampung with...More

It was my second visit after 20 years ago. For expats, you will be charged so much more (IDR 150.000) than native people (IDR 10.000) for entrance fee. To go there, I suggest using private/rental car or such rather than using motorcycle. The road condition...More
