About
Situated a mere few metres from Dwejra’s inland sea, the environmental education centre acts as the perfect accompaniment to a site of such natural complexity and interest. Dwejra has its own centre on location where anyone – divers, tourists, swimmers, children – can learn about what is special about Dwejra’s underwater landscape.

The Dwejra Marine Centre is a Gem
May 2021 • Couples
What a lovely experience we had this morning. I really recommend you go visit this tiny little gem in Dwejra. The Dwejra Marine Centre offers so much information about the Azure window and underwater habitat and the different species of fish in the surrounding sea bed. Annie our tour guide is so knowledgeable and very welcoming. Everyone can see how dedicated she is. Thank you Annie for this wonderful experience.

Great little museum
Nov 2019 • Couples
We had the good fortune to be arriving at this museum as a torrential rain storm came over. The museum is small but very informative, but as mentioned by other reviewers, the real star is the museum director who is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. After we had finished our tour of the museum, the storm was still going and she set up some extra films for us to watch. Thanks again for a great visit!

Annie is a passionate guide who would open the center just for you and she is willing to give you a private tour in the museum. She also shared with us many of her personal experience and was happy to answer and explain in detail any questions.

An awesome learning experience
Sep 2020
Though the centre is small, it is packed with lots of interesting facts & information about the marine life in Dwejra. Annie made the experience to the Dwejra Marine Centre a memorable one, not only for the kids but also for the adults. She roped all the group into the educational games and made them such fun .
Besides Annie being very knowledgeable about the marine environment found at Dwejra , she spoke with passion and shared her own personal experiences, before immersing ourselves into a virtual underwater dive. The marine documentary is really interesting.

This small marine centre is worth a visit both before or after a both ride or a dive. Annie definitely turns this centre into an educational gem!

A hidden gem
Dec 2019
Small but very informative. Annie was very enthusiastic and dedicated to the preservation of the environment and education of those who visit this centre. The diving feature video is well worth the 2 euro entrance fee. Well done St Lawrence Council!
