Booked 4 hours trip around Comino for myself and my partner (who can't swim and was a bit scared). Both of us enjoyed the cruise tremendously, I loved swimming in the crystal blue waters surrounding Comino and my partner had a relaxing time on a deck. We didn't book lunch but wish we had as it looked delicious but bought a local beer from the crew. George and his team were really accommodating and friendly, got a complimentary soft drink and watermelon later on. Around 25 people were on the boat but it didn't feel crowded and we had a really relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Gozo.

The best trip by far in Gozo. We have taken many boat tours in Gozo over the years and this is by far the best. George and James were sound and great craic on the trip. The lunch was very nice. They did the full tour of the island and stopped many times for swimming.

My family and I had a great afternoon with George and his crew aboard Xlendi III. We had children in our party who thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the swims. George and his team were very accomodating and kind - their service was great. We didn't have the on-board lunch but took our own snacks and bought drinks on-board. We took the free transfer from Marselforn and back which was ideal. Highly recommend them and very reasonable rate.

Beautiful full day with my group of 8 and 6-7 other people, for a long and relaxing cruise. Full day from 10-6:30 pm. Buffet lunch, several stops for swimming, and the boat provides enough shade for long naps if you choose that option. George the owner was our captain and his 2nd mate was Agus, both very kind.

Amazing full day trip around Comino and Gozo. Swimming and snorkelling in the blue lagoon, Crystal Lagoon. Captain George and Joseph took great care of us ensuring we had an incredible experience of all the bays and caves.

The main problem with this trip is they appeared to have over sold the boat so my group were ushered onto a smaller boat which ended up crammed with people. This might have been tolerable on a shorter trip but this trip was 5 hours long and involved stops for swimming and eating. It really wasn't big enough for this. People could hardly move around so felt very cramped. There were not enough seats and several people felt sick from having to sit next to the engine. I spent most of the trip feeling in the way standing up due to not having a seat. Most of the passenger's looked miserable and we all couldn't wait for it to end.

I would say the boat could have accommodated about half the people comfortably. We were annoyed because we had paid to go on a larger boat with space to move around. Instead we felt like sardines or stowaways putting up with the conditions until we reached land.

In addition the staff were not great; the announcements were few and no one could hear them. The staff really didn't care.

The cruise was pretty decent in fairness, however, you pay a €10 deposit for snorkels which is fine except we paid the captain and a crew member separately and the crew member pocketed the money so when it came to getting it back from George, the owner, he didn’t believe us. In the end he reluctantly paid the money but then, like a child, threw his own snorkels into the sea in a temper! He is about 5’ tall so it’s a good job I was in a chilled mood or I would have thrown him in also! The irony is we were going to pay him that as a tip. What an idiot.

I had the misfortune of travelling with Xlendi cruises yesterday. I paid for the full day tour (ie trip 4) plus lunch totalling 48 euros.

The trip was supposed to be all around Gozo, Comino and the Blue Lagoon. Yeah right.

So the boat started. No introductions from the crew, no health and safety chats. I've been on boat holidays and boat trips across the world. There has always been a health and safety chat until now.

The tour started, we went past some rocks, we stopped a few times. No commentary / explanations from the staff on board as to where we were, where we were going next.

I started to get tetchy as I was on for the full day and the vast majority on the boat were on half day. Turns out full day is two trips mashed together so at 2.30pm the boat returns to the original point.

About an hour in, me and some others starting asking the staff where we were and when we would get to swim (8 swim stops were advertised - so far we had none). At this point they asked if we felt unsafe and wanted to return. We were confused and said no and to carry on. But they turned around with no explanation anyway.

When questioned they said one person felt sick so decided winds were too strong to go around Gozo. We saw nothing and by 2.30pm we had seen the Blue Lagoon for 10 mins and one other stop (which was mediocre). We had seen absolutely none of the Gozo stops advertised.

I decided to get off when the boat docked at 2.30pm as I only had one day left on Gozo and wanted to sort another tour where I could actually see the sights before leaving.

George came to speak to me and 3 other people. He approached with aggression and outrage that we would be unhappy that we didn't see anything of Gozo on a Gozo tour. He made it clear he felt we were wasting his time.  He was a an arrogant, rude man and didn't care if we had a good time. Zero customer service skills; 100% excellent at taking your money. None of us were offered a partial refund or a place on another trip.

Btw lunch was some sweaty meat, tinned tuna and salad. Not worth 8 euros.

The reason that I have given it 2 stars (rather than 1 star) is I still got on the boat and saw the Blue Lagoon, but please do not give your money to this company.

Booked Trip 4, a full day's cruise around Gozo and Comino, which is actually an amalgamation of Trips 2 and 3. The weather had been windy the few days previously so we we half expecting the trip to be postponed, but we were told it was going ahead as normal. The morning trip around Comino and the Blue Lagoon was fine and we set off from Mgaar after lunch with passengers booked onto the second part. Quite quickly the weather conditions changed and the sea became rougher as we headed anti-clockwise around Gozo. The skipper turned back and explained that the waves were too rough. We expected to be taken back to harbour, but the cruise then continued clockwise, where the sea became even rougher as we headed west, to the point where the skipper battened down his wheelhouse, leaving us passengers getting swamped in up to 6ft waves. It was so bad that passengers at the front were not only soaking wet, very cold and literally wringing our their clothes but also obviously frightened, and some passengers were seasick. Eventually, far too late, we did turn back, but not to harbour - there were about 40 minutes of cruise time yet and we were dumped back at the Blue Lagoon for the last half hour, where everything was closed and we could do nothing but shiver and wait for the boat to pick us up. To say we passengers were demoralised is an understatement.
To sum up, a major part of this cruise was clearly unsafe. We were offered no apology; the skipper was actually laughing at us all, wet, cold and frightened as we turned back. Eventually were given 10 Euro refund each, but this was not sufficient as we had paid 45 Euro each. Some passengers had apparently been told that we wouldn't make it around Gozo, and were given the option of going another day, the tour should obviously have finished at lunchtime. Not recommended at all!

We were staying in Xlendi, and this was a very convenient way to see Comino. We were considering the full-day trip, but were glad we chose the Comino half-day with lunch on the boat.

Lunch was simple, make your own sallad and sandwich buffet with with some tuna, veggies, meats, cheese and some fruit for dessert, but everything was really fresh and kept refrigerated until served. There was also beer and wine served on board.

Easy to book and pay for the trip at Xlendi beach. Comfortable transport to/from the ferry terminal. Nice boat and friendly staff all around.
