I took my granddaughter here for her birthday. The village was in very bad shape.
Although they were actively repairing it, it had not been maintained very well for a long time. The actors were very good and so was the silver smith, but everyone...More
I’d love to rate this as a 5 however the majority of the staff left a sour taste in my mouth. Unfriendly and unapproachable with the exception of ‘Popeye’ and ‘Olive’ while paying the staff were rude and abrupt. Steep hills so unadvisable for wheelchairs...More

Going to a fake village that was used for a movie set is not really my thing, however, we were on a road trip so we stopped to take a look. It looked like a good place for families to visit if that's your thing.
Its easy to park would advise get there early and remember the Maltese dont park like us they can leave you a tight spot to get out of. We had no problems its a great day kids will love it old and young.

A full day can be spent at Popeye Village depending on the weather, eg there are spots to relax and sunbathe and swim, boat trips etc. With no car it could take a while to reach Popeye Village from the airport, so I too would suggest stopping over and making the most of it. I'd also recommend booking tickets online too as although the queues go down relatively quickly, they can be quite long during peak seasons.Have fun and Enjoy!
