Me and my fiance had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and somehow we still wanted to have a night to remember.. I've contacted David for a sunset private charter and from the very beginning he has been really kind, detailed and helpful!
He offered us a Dufour Grand Large which is a really wonderful boat and a skipper to assist us throughout who was really nice with us and knowledgable! After sailing around some of our beautiful island's amazing spots, he then anchored us at Kalkara for a superb delicious bbq made with fresh food. We've enjoyed our dinner with amazing night views!
To summarize it all, David and his team managed to give us an unforgettable night! We highly recommend Sailing Charters Malta to anyone looking for that special and wonderful charter.

Our day out on a 42’ Bavaria was a surprise birthday treat from my wife.
We had a full day package from 9am to 6pm and made it all the way from Kalkara marina up the East coast of Matla visiting various coves for swimming on the way, then a stop in the Blue Lagoon, lunch cooked in the bay of the Comino hotel and then more cove hopping and a relaxing cruise back.
David our captain was an adopted Maltese local having lived on the island for 30 years but originally hailing from Halifax, UK.
He was great company, very knowledgable about all the sites on the shoreline and full of great chat to do with Malta and all that goes on there and in Gozo.
The BBQ was really delicious, prepped on-shore by the owner’s wife and then rather expertly cooked and served by David, clearly a man of many talents. We would highly recommend this food option. Sometimes cruise food can be a bit of an afterthought and we had considered bringing snacks from M&S in case. We didn’t and there was no need to at all - fabulous dining.
Overall something we will definitely do again and we think our kids would love on a less romantic occasion.

Dear Mark ( skipper of Farfalla) and David, Owner,
Anne and I would like to offer our most sincere thanks for Mark's professionalism and courtesy in coming to our rescue! My wife and I were out in our little Mirror dinghy sailing from Mellieha towards Comino when we had a rigging failure that resulted in a dismasting. Farfalla kindly saw our distress signal and approached us gently, contacted TM authorities and also provided us with a tow. We sincerely appreciate the seamanlike gesture and really hope that your Dutch guests did not mind the slight diversion from your itinerary.
Wishing you all great success on your ventures and sincere appreciation for a perfectly executed rescue.

We are from the US and booked a charter trip online. The owner, David, was very attentive and responsive to all our questions and answered all our emails quickly. The boat was a beautiful Bavaria 41’. Our Captain, Nicco, was knowledgeable, polite, and wonderful person. He was willing to share sailing knowledge and instruction and we learned much from him. Overall great experience from a great company of great people.

My husband and I had a private sunset boat tour of the Valletta Harbor and surrounding coastline with Dave. He was very informative and the views from the boat were breathtaking. You really get to see the city and large monuments well. We really enjoyed the food on board as well. It was a calm evening so the rocking of the boat barely bothered me at all (I can get a bit seasick). This was definitely a highlight from my husband and I’s honeymoon - would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time! Mark showed us all the secret/quiet spots that you wouldn’t get if you booked with another company that has larger groups. He was very kind and welcoming and was so knowledgable. Every spot he took us to was beautiful! We were so happy and will definitely be coming back.

I have rented the Beneteau 43 during one week with my family. The whole experience has been fantastic. The vessel it was very well manteined, perfectly clean and working properly. All my gratitude to David that he was always available given us all kind of information of the island, best moorings, solving any doubts. Thank you very much, David, for such a memorable vacation. We hope to see you again soon.

Guillerme is the best skipper!!
We took a Beneteau 50ft sailing boat with 11 friends. He took us to some great locations and recommended us the safest places as the day was a bit windy and wavy.
He is a very experienced skipper, very easy going and we felt very safe in his hands.
We had some trouble with the anchor at the end of the trip getting tangled on some thick wires on the seabed and he was able to dive 10 metres to free the anchor so we could return home. Very impressive.
Thanks Guillerme for the great experience! I learnt a lot from you!

We had a great time over a weekend! The boat was fully equipped and very comfortable with ample space. Mark, our skipper, was very nice and accommodating and we got along well with him. I would definitely recommend both the skipper and the boat to anyone looking to book a weekend charter around Malta.

We‘ve spent the last day cruising around the beautiful beaches of Malta, Comino and Gozo. The trip was fantastic, especially because of our Skipper Steve. This experienced, friendly, accommodating and considerate man, made the whole experience special. Although the wind was not very strong, he explained us the basic principals of sailing, what perfected the day.

How would lunch work on the 9 hour cruise? I see mention of bbq, is that included? Will there be other snacks/beverages available or would we need to bring everything ourselves?
