A lovely long stretch of beach with a variety of cafes, bars or indeed lots of space to do your own thing! Water is not especially deep and lots of locals around in the evening enjoying the beach too!

Nice sandy beach some great cafes along its length, safe for all ages and abilities to swim and life guards in certain sections.

After the disappointment of Bugibba “rocky beach”, the long stretch of golden sand at Mellieha was wonderful. We caught the bus at Bugibba bus station and headed north to Chikkwarra. Mellieha is on the way, but don’t waste your time walking around the medieval town...More

I pleasant beach if somewhat over crowded. Not many facilities available either. The sea was beautiful and there are steps provided to make it easier to get into the water.

The beach is beautiful but popular! The sea is crystal clear and warm to swim in. I love the fact that you can swim in the twilight as it’s quieter but still so warm.

The beach itself is very nice, clear waters with cafes around the place and water activities. However, this is not my idea of fun, sun bed after sun bed crammed on top of one another. I prefer a bit of space to move around and...More
