Reception beautifully refurbished, but you do not receive a warm welcome. Stayed 31/1-7/2 and was given a room in the South Wing that was cold and damp. Heating was already on, outside furniture in the room and vending machines empty. Forced to pay €10 per...More

Lovely sandy beach with clear waters so great for snorkelling. The vista is ruined by poor town planning, large hotel complex and factory, but my favourite of all the beaches in Malta. Good shady areas for children also. Restaurants closed in November so take a...More

Qualsiasi linea di autobus diretta al porto per isola di Gozo ha come penultima fermata il bivio per la spiaggia di Paradise Bay. Dalla fermata devi necessariamente camminare per 1,5 km a piedi.

We travelled to Malta two Summers’ ago and spent a wonderful week in The Dolmen Hotel in Qawra, we are returning the end of July. My husband is a keen fisherman and didn’t fair very well last time off the rocky ‘beach’ opposite the Dolmen. Can I please ask for some advice on some good spots for beach fishing, that also have facilities for myself for the endless hours he intends to spend fishing !! I have been reading about Paradise Bay , and wondered is fishing permitted here. Also, as a...More

Malta being an all year round destination so there is always a lot going on. Christmas is always a lovely time in Malta and Valletta has many activities. However the Paradise Bay hotel is very remote and so hiring a car would be the best idea or you will have to go on the buses . Paradise Bay is very handy for the Gozo ferry , in fact it is walking distance. Have a great Christmas. Graham
