Disappointing and generally poor. Not at all what we expected from a 4 star hotel. No indication the staff enjoyed working there anymore than guests enjoyed staying there. We booked as we were attracted by beach but it’s tiny and across a main road right next to the Gozo ferry terminal.

Really nice beach if you like swimming and snorkelling in great natural surroundings. However, it can get a bit crowded on the sand, which can also get quite dirty with people leaving their garbage behind. However, it’s still by far the nicest beach in that part of Malta (especially compared to Golden Bay) from personal experience. It feels much more secluded and intimate. The water is warm and goes deep quite fast, making for a great swim.
We got to it from Mellieha via bus, which goes to the ferry port and then walked for about 10 minutes to get there (lovely walk — especially at sunset). There is also a direct 101 bus stopping much closer.
The lido is also decent, but beware of toilettes, which can get quite grim. The customer service from the guys manning the sun beds can also be lacking. Food is decent. The sun beds on the terrace are much nicer because they are firmer and have large umbrellas over them, so it’s great if you are seeking shade all day. However, the terrace gets almost no sun, so if you are after a nice tan, get sun beds on the beach (stick to the right side of the beach looking out onto the water if you want sun till the sunset). Lastly, note that on the weekends, the front row of terrace loungers can get reserved. We were shocked to find out that despite showing up early, we couldn’t get one because someone has called the night before and reserved them. Don’t think I’ve seen this system employed elsewhere, so just be aware that this could happen. Overall, you will have an amazing experiencing in Paradise Bay! It’s an amazing beach!

Lovely beach to visit. Beautiful clear water with shallow bits before it gets deep. You can hire sun beds on the terrace in the shade or on the beach and they offer a waiting service for drinks and food to your sunbeds. There is quite a walk down to the beach so maybe not suitable if you can’t manage many steps.

Very nice beach with clear waters that are safe to swim in. There are many steps down to the beach, so not suitable for those with mobility issues.

So we took the 221 bus from Buggiba to the gozo ferry port and then walked to the beach. Its a hike so if you are not up for it get the 101 from the port which will drop you in the car park above the beach.

There is a steep incline down to the beach via steps so again more walking. Once there though its a really nice secluded bay. Loungers can be hired on the beach, have to say for the money €20 for two and a parasol they are not in great condition.

There are terrace loungers for hire but more expensive.

Beach is busy and not that big so you need to like being close to people, but the water is clear like a swimming pool. Fine sand and nice breezes blow through.

Food is available at the bar and restaurant, its pricy but they have the monopoly , you can get a quick sarnie though if that's what you want.

It's a nice day out, not my personal fave beach but very pleasant.

Loved this beach. The water is beautiful here, there’s a nice sandy beach. We opted for beds on the terrace. Here, we could order food and we were under an umbrella. Beds on the beach are also available or bring your own. There’s a restaurant, too. I found this place relaxing and a good atmosphere. I’d go back.

Beautiful Sandy beach , with pine trees around .
Clear and warm water .
There are a restaurant , toilets very well kept and clean , you can rent parasols and beach chairs at reasonable price . The best beach in the area for me .
If you like snorkelling this is the best place according to locals .
Amazing place .

Just next to the northern part of the island, the Paradise Bay is a really beautiful beach with sand and clear water. We loved it.

We went bouldering around Paradise bay. The nature is breath taking and so many rocks to climb. I recommend gloves as they are very pointy and it can hurt. Trekking is wonderful too.

We were there for 4 hours climbing the boulders. Lovely!

The beach is small, but with sand and clear green water. Be early if you want to find a space.
