We visited the area at the beginning of January on a sunny day, and there were very few people there, which just added magic to the whole experience. I imagine this place to be packed in summer, the beach is sandy and it's such a beautiful spot. The clay slopes provide a dramatic contrast to the blue sea below. It's worth walking all the way around the large 'rock' overlooking the sea. We walked around this and then down to the beach. We spent some time on the beach and then walked back up towards the tower. It is so beautiful here, the views are breath-taking and it's just absolutely worth visiting, especially on a cold, sunny day if you like hiking or on a warm, sunny day if you like swimming. Next time we'll go back with a kayak so we can explore the caves around the area.

Great beach, sandy and shallow. Can be a little crowded in August but mostly at weekends. Many steps down from top to beach so keeps you fit going back up. Excellent snorkelling and swimming.

Everything about this beach is absolutely stunning. I suggest you park/arrive as if you were going to the Golden bay. Then take the road on your left from the bus stops, walk a bit and turn right. You'll walk through some a hill that overlooks the golden beach for some cool photos, and eventually end up in from of the stairs that goes down to ghian tuffehia beach. The views from there are magical. The Bay seems to be windier than golden Bay. The water is crystal clear, shallow water for a long tract but still very swimmable. The sea here seems to be naturally a bit agitated, but in a pleasant way. The waves were similar to those artifical waves you have in those water play parks, people, both kids and adults were enjoying the game mother nature was offering. And all around a beautiful Mediterranean landscape and a tower with a Maltese flag. Unforgettable. There is a restaurant overlooking the beach, good food I must say but pretty expensive.

IT used to be one of the best beaches in Malta, probably the best place. But from this year is completely lost. It is full of rubbish, litter and other stuff. It has completely devastated by night parties, people camping everywhere and leaving all the rubbish on the sands without cleaning. Also, the water is much worse being not any more clear and pure like before.

lovely walk from Gnejna Bay, over to Ghajn Tuffieha Bay and a walk around the peninsula and then onto Golden Bay. Beautiful views and a great walk finishing with coffee and cake. As is was Feburaury the bus dropped off at Mgarr and I had to walk down to Gneja Bay which is along walk down. The 101 bus doesn't run down to the bay in winter. You then go to the bus stop in the bay, go over the small wall and then up the path up the cliff to the next bay. The path is very visible so you can't get lost once you are on it. I'd recommend doing it this way and not the other way. The walk back up to Mgarr wouldn't be pleasant. Buses are running regularly to Golden Bay.

I loved visiting this place! We walked up the hill and up to the big rock at the top. The views and landform are just incredible and it was worth going just for the views! It was very humid so we got very sweaty but it was worth it. We didn’t go to the beaches as we just wanted to see what they were like however as it was a Sunday the beaches were very busy. Best to avoid the beaches on the weekend. A great walk with incredible views - definitely recommend!!

It’s probably one of the most beautiful beach I’ve seen since a while... There’s not a lot of people and it’s surrender by nature. The sand is pretty and the water is so transparent! U can walk around the place for discovering more attractive views. There’s a lot of stairs for going down but that’s not an issue normally. Go ahead there without any worries !

We hired some cars so headed over for a look and it’s an impressive coastline. There is a free car park at the top of the path that runs down to the beach. It’s not that big but there is some street parking around too. Bit of a bun fight b7t we found a spot.
The beach was busy but we only went for a look so that wasn’t a problem and it was mid-afternoon. If you planned on making a day of it I’d get there early.
The headland offers a great view of a few bays and the warm sea breeze blowing across is nice.

Lovely beach with a great restaurant and clear water. Nice sandy beach. Sun beds and umbrellas available. Lots of steps down to the beach but well worth it. However avoid at weekends as it gets very crowded and is then less pleasant.

Ghan Tuffieha is an unspoilt area. It is flanked by 2 of the most beautiful beaches here. Golden bay and Singita beach. The area in between these two because it is so picturesque.. perfect for a photo shoot.
I will highly recommend a visit to this area.

Raggiungere Tuffieha e Golden Bay è molto più semplice che raggiungere altre spiagge. Gli autobus sono molto frequenti e mai al completo. È inoltre ben attrezzata anche con bar e ristorante.
