- Resort80077110 contributionsWe visited the park with our kids, aged 7 and 9. We had been there in 2017 when our children were turning one and three years old, and we had a great experience back then. However, this time, we were disappointed. Many of the larger animals we were looking forward to seeing, such as the lions, were no longer there. The staff was very impolite, and we missed the main attraction, the Sea Lion show. Due to the strong winds, the show may have been cancelled anyway, similar to the bird show, which couldn't go ahead because it was too dangerous for the birds to perform. I must give credit to the fantastic staff who trained the birds. (see pictures). They were sweet, dedicated to their birds, and treated us wonderfully! Unfortunately, the majority of the staff were very negative, which significantly impacted our experience at the park. The bob slide was a joke- not worth it! As a family of four, we spent €300 in total on entrance fees, animal photos, close interactions with the animals (animal passport experience), bob slide and food. I feel that this money could have been much better spent at another park, and I was very disappointed with our visit. We paid €50 for each of the kids for a 60-minute experience, where we went inside enclosed areas with animals to feed them and learn about them. It was a small group, just our two kids and another couple. I asked if I could accompany them, as my kids are Norwegian and don’t understand English, but I was not allowed to join. The guide's level of English was very poor. My daughter is fearless, so it went fine, but I was concerned she might get too close to some of the animals. She couldn’t understand the guide, so the educational aspect of the experience was very limited. The pizza was tasteless and not worth the money, as were the chips. The park itself is well laid out, and if it weren’t for the negative staff, it would have been an okay visit. I would probably still recommend it for a first-time visit with kids, but I wouldn’t return for a third visit with ours. The staff at the much smaller Monkey Park is far better, and the overall experience there is much more enjoyable. If you’re happy with a smaller park, I truly recommend visiting that one instead.Visited December 2024Traveled with familyWritten December 19, 2024
- Abi C3 contributionsJungle Park was a great day out. Firstly there is a free shuttle coach which has multiple stops around South Tenerife (took about 40 minutes from Fanabe), although it gets filled quickly there and back, so I advise having alternative transport as a back up just incase. We pre-booked online, however we didn't really need to as we were in the same queue as those buying tickets at the park, we still got through in about 5 minutes. Once in the park it's easy to find your way around, plenty of sign posts. The terrain could be tricky for people with mobility issues and pushchairs, some of the paths are quite steep. The animals were amazing, the highlights were walking through the Lemur enclosure and the tropical bird enclosure. We also went to the Birds of Prey show as well as the Sea Lion show, both lasted around 30 minutes each and were really informative and fun. As expected the bars and restaurants were expensive, but we recommend the Pizzeria restaurant if you do want food. Overall we had a lovely day out and I recommend it if you want something laid back and fun for kids of all ages!Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 15, 2024
- Sienna E10 contributionsPrepare to have your pockets rinsed. €2 to feed the animals I think we spent €20 on that, food was extortionate for a small pizza, 2x chicken and chips was nearly 80€ and the chicken was grey we literally just ate the chips. The bobsleigh was great fun bug again you have to pay for that, very annoyed they didn’t have any orangutang like advertisedVisited February 2025Traveled with familyWritten February 19, 2025
- FarAway614628540842 contributionsGot tickets for the Zoo at the same time at entrance to Awualand Costa Adele so got a discount on both. Worth a visit, no big animals but still enough to look at including penguins and an Orangutan (he looked a bit depressed). As with al visitor attractions the food if VERY expensive so bring packed lunch! There’s a birds of prey show at 1230 but the sea lion show is at 1330 so we missed it. They should space the shows further apart! Lots of photographers handing parrots and eagles to visitors and taking photos which is fine but they’re €10 each for the photos so we didn’t buy any and didn’t see anyone else buying any. They print the photos and leave them by the exit and if you don’t buy them they presumably throw them in the bin. They should make the photos €2 each and I would imagine lots more visitors would buy them and they’d make more from this than what they make from the few that buy them for €10. The bobsled ride for €4 each was worth it and kids can ride alongside adults. Worth the admission. I’ve been to many Zoos and this one was pretty average but kept the kids entertained for a few hours.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 22, 2024
- Nicole 🧿Leipzig, Germany80 contributionsNot crowded, beautifully shaded, animals make a relaxed impression. Absolute NoGo: Parrots were turned on their backs every second and pressed into the hands of everyone to take pictures. There are costs of 10€ per photo, you don't want to talk about animal welfare. Seal show pleasantly entertaining.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 10, 2024
- Katy K3 contributionsAbsolutely worth a visit! Got free bus from Adeje at 10:55, took around an hour, but full air conditioned. Booked tickets on line beforehand. Easily fill 3-4 hrs. Food prices not bad, we had pizzas which were all around 14 euros. ( restaurant was a little more pricey) but could take packed lunch. Bottled water 3,90€. Recommend wearing trainers as it’s quite hilly and loads of little paths ( mostly wheelchairs/pram friendly) the adventure walk is a nice touch for older kids ( min age is 5, but have to be accompanied) All animals in good condition and looked well looked after. Very clean and not too busy! The Walk through areas were great with lemurs and birds landing on you ( if you fed them). Shows on for birds of prey and sea lions, well worth it. If getting free bus back be there around 4:10 or 5:10 as bus fills up quicklyVisited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 5, 2024
- AdventuresOfEm389 contributionsA mixed review from me.... Positives - loved the walk through Lemar enclosure, the Lemars were sleeping with one keeping an eye on passers by, so it was lovely to see these beautiful animals up close and take some photos. Equally liked the meercats and penguins, the Bob ride is good and goes pretty fast. Liked the cactus garden and rope bridges. Negatives - the upselling does feel off putting, €10 for a photo with the parrot (pay at the end), €15 for a photo with the sealion (pay cash before they give you a ticket to queue up to see the sealion but the guy still tried to charge us again at the end and was quite pushy when we asked to collect the photo we had already paid for) with the Sealion photo you have to pay €15 per person so my Daughter had her photo taken alone because it would if been €30 for me to stand next to her. Understandably she was neverous never meeting a sealion up close before and only wanted me to stand there for reassurance but I wasnt allowed and had to stand behind the gate as told to by the emotionless staff. If you are already paying the €15 for one photograph why does it matter how many family members are in the photo anyway? The Mother and Daughter in front of us had both paid so they had a photo each and one together so that's 3 photo's taken because they both paid the €30. The food is expensive. 1 x Pizza, 1 x chips, 3 x soft drinks was €30. Some of the animals are kept in very small enclosures such as the storks, one was pacing around keep trying to stretch its wings and fly but there just was no room for any more than a jump so it was repeating this movement over and over which was sad to see. Plus they are caged alone and not as a group which didnt seem like a happy life for these beautiful birds in an already unnatural environment. The Sealion enclosure is also too small and seeing this beautiful animal having to impress tourists and pose for these photos also made me feel guilty for letting my child participate and I wouldn't pay to do this again. Basically it was a nice day out as a family bit there were some aspects that left some sadness in my heart with seeing how animals are treated at these centres on Tenerife (The Camel Centre was also not great either) in comparison with other places in the world, improvements should be made.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 4, 2024
- Alwayshungry7 contributionsWe’ve been to Tenerife 15+ times and have previously been to Loro Parque multiple times. Having done that, we had overlooked Jungle Park, assuming it wouldn’t be any good. How wrong were we!! The main problem this place has is from a marketing perspective. There is no reason whatsoever why it shouldn’t be absolutely bustling every day. Having now been there on our 2 most recent trips, I have never seen it ‘busy’, and have never had to queue for anything. Food and drinks from the kiosks and restaurants are overpriced (think €14 for a Margherita pizza and €7 for a portion of fries) but in terms of the atmosphere, walking routes and animals, the place is absolutely fantastic. It feels like a real adventure for the kids but is also really interesting for adults too. Don’t miss the bird show and the sea lions show - I actually think they’re better than the versions in Loro Parque. My only criticism would be the timing of the animal feedings (12 at one side of the park then 12:15 on the other side of the park) followed by the bird show back in the middle of the park at 12:30 - could be better planned, and also the closing of the cafe next to the bird show when it finished seemed to miss a trick! Overall, a really good adventure and I’d say half a day is enough time. Also, huge shout out to the falconers who put on the bird show every day. They are absolutely brilliant and the show was the highlight of our day!Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 27, 2024
- Ann41 contributionsGood day out for the kids. We all loved the lemur walk. It was brilliant getting so close to the lemurs. The bird show is brilliant, the birds must love living there cause they all were able to fly away if they wanted to but all returned. We rushed to the restaurant after and got a table do was able to eat and watch the sea lion show. The food was nice but expensive like all places like this. The bobsleigh was 4€ each and the kids went on with the adults and loved it. It should have been 4€ per sleigh but it is what it is. The kids really loved it. It was hard to find some of the animals. We found the coatis and the raccoons should have been with them but we didn’t see any raccoons. The orangutan looked sad sat by himself on a climbing frame. There’s a lot of walking and with it being in Tenerife it is hilly but the paths are smooth. The park looks a bit tired but it is clean and well maintained. The staff care for the animals.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 8, 2024
- JOC3023 contributionsWe had a great time at Jungle Park, we bought a twin ticket for aqua land too so it worked out cheaper (130 euros for both for a family of 4). It’s a great place to explore & lots of shaded areas. We were first going to visit Loro Parque but as it’s over an hour away from the south of Tenerife it wasn’t worth it for us and it’s very expensive. We took our own food to jungle park, but bought drinks there which were the same as everywhere else like this place. The sea lion show was the best show we have ever seen! They were clearly well loved by their trainers. The birds of prey show was also fantastic. It’s well worth a visit if you’re in Tenerife! Highly recommend!Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 13, 2024

Our trip to jungle park was the best activity we have done in Tenerife in all our holidays and we have been 3 times!!! We have also done Siam park and monkey park this week but this was just amazing. We went as a a group of friends as I’d seen a tik tok video of the bob sled and wanted to go. Well it was the highlight of our trip, the bob sled is absolutely amazing! It is great fun and very fast and it whips you round corners and it’s long so it’s not over in a flash like a roller coaster. It had a break so you can go slower if you want or if it’s little kids, although I went on it twice and never touched the break 😂😂😂 it’s not Suitable for little children as you have to go on alone just so you know.
Next best thing was the jungle raid which was like an adventure court/assault course, which starts near the top of the park and finishes at the bob sled, it’s a lot of fun to climb but it’s exhausting just a fair warning not for the faint hearted.
The whole aesthetic of the park is just amazing, I loved the jungle theme, it was beautiful, took so many photos my phone memory filled up, all the the rope and suspension bridges, all the winding tracks, honestly brilliant and instagramable!!!
We had the most amazing experience in the avery, you but food which is €2 and the birds sit on your arm or hand while they eat, bring lots of change with you so you can buy more than one pot TRUST ME.
You can feed the other animals around the park for €2 for a pot of food but we bought some and the animals weren’t interested
The sea lion show was amazing, we sat at the restaurant for the show and food was amazing, absolutely recommend it as you can eat while the amazing show is on.
There are some reviews saying they only stayed at this park 1-2 hours, honestly don’t know how, we got there at 10:20 and didn’t leave till 5pm and still had bits we hadn’t had chance to get too! Mainly because I just had to walk over every rickety bridge, The place is huge and we had the most amazing time. It is a MUST DO for anyone adventurous or anyone wanting some nice pics.
Food in the little cafe near the bob sledge is expensive and looks rubbish, deffo do the restaurant at the sea lions, plus the waiter is mega helpful
Tip! Go in the cave behind the waterfall which is where the big birds are kept near the sea lions.
Pictures taken by photographers in the park are €10 each which is exessive but as you can see plenty of picture opportunities inside the leak for you to do yourselves

Absolute waste of money. Extremely overpriced. Place was empty near enough, bob sleds weren't open. It's literally a deserted zoo. Not allowed to bring food in, food there is extremely overpriced. Also, it took us 40 mins to get a taxi out. Hubby called the number provided and lady hung up on him! AVOID!!

The worst were the small cages and areas for the animals! Far to small and little swimming basin for the sea lions (only to go out during a daily show). Big birds as well: could not imagine these small cages. Only some of them could fly a bit during the birds of prey show. Which was kind of nice to watch, but have seen more impressive ones.
In the park you heard all the time fake sounds of wild animals through speakers. We will never go here again and really cannot recommend this to anyone (especially who loves animals). I felt sad afterwards

I read so many bad reviews that we almost skipped it, but then I thought about it, we went and didn't regret it. The outing turned out to be exceptionally good, the jungle experience is there and it's crazy cool. There are not too many animals, and as a zoo it is not the most outstanding, but good animals make it interesting, everything is presented in perfect condition and imaginatively. The animals are kept well, in an appropriately sized space. (Others were bothered by the fact that the orangutan is alone, which also lives alone in nature, or that some birds have bald necks, which is also a characteristic.) I was only bothered by the fact that children can go in with the guinea pigs, who intrusively touch the animals, so this should be banned. Fortunately, animal petting is an expensive program with an extra charge, which is good because if someone wants to expose animals to unnecessary stress, they have to pay a lot for it. An animal is not an object. We got our hands on loris and lemurs, and most of the staff were very nice, but a family ran away screaming right in front of us after several birds flew into dad's arms at the same time. Animals can't help but think people are stupid.
So this is a very good little zoo, I can only recommend it. We didn't eat inside because it was just as overpriced as all such places, I would ban strollers because they obstruct traffic, but other than that it's a good place. It's not a full-day experience, but it's worth allocating 4 hours if you're not going with children.

Arrived at the park with my family via taxi €13 to get there. We paid for three adults and a child as one out of children is over 11, so you can get cover to pay just under €130 for a family two adults two children. As soon as you enter the park you have people trying to sell you experiences - to go in the water with the Seals €50 each there is four of us and if we want our photo taken with the Seals that is €75 pp. the you walk a few steps further your into the gift shop where a small 75CL bottle of water is €4 we brought 4 of these. Then at the exit of the shop which you have to walk through we were bombarded by two men who told us to stand in the corner passed a bird on our arm - he then told us to stand for a photo. You cannot use your mobile phone to take a photo of your family. You get told off. You have to buy them, see where this is going. No food or drink can be taken into the park either. We brought four more drinks in the park at €5 each. We didn’t eat, the food did not look appealing and the price was also not appealing if you wanted some dry looking chips €10, a pizza was around €16-18. The jungle - wasn’t great. There was just not enough variety of animals in my opinion for a ‘Jungle’. We saw similar animals at the Monkey world, which was fantastic by the way and they didn’t push to sell everything to you for extra € constantly.
The park is very hilly not advisable for people who have mobility impairments. There is some shade in places near the trees otherwise it would have been unbearable in the heat trying to navigate around the park with no maps jotted around. There are signs pointing in directions but they aren’t in order you do end up walking around in circles a lot.
We left and shortly after the free bus arrived. This bus is not free in my opinion- very painful! We got a taxi there which took 8 minutes. It took an hour and half to come back on the bus. No air conditioning on the bus and the bus was packed full of understandably sweaty people. No drinks allowed on the bus - people had to drink water it was ridiculously hot on there. The traffic was busy on one particular road, but the bus didn’t seem to navigate away from the busy road. It did seem to go around in circles. As you can imagine as the taxi took just under 8minutes. Children on the bus were over heating and falling to sleep. It really is not acceptable.
Save yourself - DO NOT GET THE BUS!
Better still go to Monkey world instead.

It is a good family day out, but I couldn’t help but feel sorry for some of the animals here, especially the birds of prey. They were all tied up to little logs and making noises that seemed like they were quite distressed. There is also an annoying man that walks round with a huge eagle on his arm, literally begging people to have a photo with the bird, even though the bird is going mental trying to escape!
The place looks very well kept and it’s absolutely spotless, with the staff working hard to keep everything looking clean and tidy.
The free bus there is great but the bus back isn’t until 16:30 or 17:30 and by 15:00 we were ready to go, so we ended up paying €10 to get back to Playa De Las Americas.
As expected, the food and drinks are expensive, so we took our our packed lunch.
The birds of prey show and the sea lion show were both really good but again, you can’t help but feel sad for them as well.
Overall, our young son had a great day and that’s what we wanted so it was worth a visit.

We visited this park with three little children. The park is near Los Cristianos, easily accessible by car. There is a paid parking at the entrance, 4 euros per visit or you can park just outside where it is free and there is lots of space. The park is set in nature, very green, lots of shades, lots of walking paths. There are two animal shows and the birds were just great eith their trainers. There is a restaurant which offers a nice choice of meals, ours were tasty and big, I would recommend. Don’t buy coffee or cola in advance unless you really want them at the restaurant as the coupons cannot be redeemed at the bar or pizzeria.

Nice park, ideal for children. I recommend going in the morning as there are some shows scheduled around lunch time. A little expensive but on the other hand it is in line with the prices of any other adventure park. However, the bars have exaggerated prices (2 coffees and a pack of sweets €8!!). The photos they take with the eagles cost €10 but they are a nice memory.

We went at a very quiet time, 2/2/24.
It was almost like having a private VIP day which was awesome. We saw all kinds of behind the scenes things including a sealion ultrasound!!! Just by being in the right place at the right time without the crowds. Definitely hang around after the sealion show !
The park itself is quite tired and almost shabby in some areas however, we felt that the animals were well cared for and clearly loved by their keepers.
As a small zoo only 15 minutes from our hotel with a free bus service we really couldn’t fault it. Last year we travelled 2 hours to Loro Park. They really aren’t comparable in zoo terms but in the scheme of things, as a family day out with small children I would absolutely recommend it.
Well worth a visit to help support this little zoo maintain the care of their animals.

Third time here over the years but it will be the last.
As others have mentioned, the queue to get into the park (after admission) is a bottleneck where you have to wait regardless or not as to whether you want a picture with a eagle or Parrott. "No photography allowed" as the lady pointed out. After all I had to wait in the queue regardless even if you didn't want a picture at a cost of X euros.
They have you cornered , in the rain as it is a good few hundred mts above sea level Into the clouds with temps a good 3-4 degrees lower than the coast. (Keep this in mind as it was cold for shorts and t shirt in march ).
Why the park cannot move the picture money making machine Into the area where the bird show is and people can walk on by if they do not require a picture. (I had a look on the way out and there were at least 4 industrial photo printing machines! Where they have you walking into the photo area again with the bigger gate locked) This was on a quiet day. Imagine in July with crowds.
On a positive note the bird show is impressive , but take plenty cash for the "big company" jungle park for the toboggan run and the entry fee. Family of five with a packed lunch was still £130 entry plus £4 parking plus £20 optional toboggan run. Be careful not to eat your packed lunch in the areas they don't want you to.
The entry system just wasted it for our family. £130 entry then through a shop (no choice) then through a single file walkway to be hassles over photos.
You could do so much better jungle park. You ain't Disney . Reviews like this don't help after lack of tourism re covid bit come on, time to change your model and add 50p entry for everyone and do away with the photo nonsense. Don't tell people to "calm down" when all they want to do is enter the park rather than be held hostage.
Would you recommend going here over loro parque? What is the differences between the two?
Written May 25, 2022
Loro parque and jungle park are different levels, if you are able to go to loro parque I would. Its about 1 hour 30 bus ride, it cost us for 2 adult 103€ for entry and bus. Very well organised, with Atlantico tours. I likened it to the parks in Orlando, Florida, everything very well kept and presented , the orca and dolphin shows is very good, Food was nice and for the type of place reasonable. We found Jungle park more expensive for food and snacks. But Jungle park is still nice to go to i think it was 60€ for 2 adults, and the bird show was really good.
