Wandered along the promenade from Maspalomas and ended up here. Nice little spot, good sand if a little rocky in places. A number of small shops & restaurants. There's not a lot going on, but if you like a quiet place to sit and look out over the sea, this would suit you nicely.

Used to live at the top, right above this beach. It's a great beach for locals, but I wouldn't recommend to tourists. The small promenade with restaurants is a bit outdated, however Ciao Ciao has great (Italian) food. The beach itself is sandy, but there's a lot of stones in the water, which doesn't make it a good beach to swim. However, if you walk down and go to the left you'll find an even smaller more or less 'hidden' beach where to locals like to relax, chill and catch some fitch.

This beach is located at the end of Meloneras beach promenade.

It is very quiet because everybody goes to Maspalomas beach which is a much nicer sand beach.

Excellent beach and so clean. Well organised with the renting of the sunbeds and parasols, only 7 euros and 50 cents for 2 sunbeds and a parasol for the whole day. Wear good covered shoes for the beach as the sand gets burning hot. Plenty of sellers go around with melons and ice creams!! I am being polite as they can be a pain!! Lovely shops and restaurants near the beach for lunch etc.

We visited playa de las Meloneras on a recent trip to maspalomas, the area has a great choice of shops and places to eat, the beach is quite sheltered much more so than melanomas beach, well worth a visit.

Sandy beach, they have cleared lots of stones from the high water line which improves it. Shops and restaurants behind. Not a nudist beach, but certainly topless along the prom wall, and some nudism ‘round the corner’,but discreet and should not frighten your maiden aunt.

small beach, sunloungers are cheap and the beach is well served by restaurants. The beach is sandy but there are rocks below water line in places which need to be negotiated but worth it. Snorkelling was good, plenty to see.

This beach is a 15 minute walk from the light house just follow the path and you will reach it, it does seem like the walk goes on forever but it's worth the walk.

I Just love this beach its alot more empty then playa del ingles and maspalomas beach, it's not as crowded you can rent two sun beds and parasols for €7:50 from 9-5pm everyday you get a little ticket so if you want to go and come back it's no problem. Theres a few restaurants and icecream shops there and a supermarket so if you need a drink or snacks you will be able to purchase.

BEWARE! If seeing people fully naked is not your thing or makes you uncomfortable do not go! they really dont care full frontal Male and female.

Great little beach less busy shops sunbeds what more can you ask for love it!

Sadly often very windy, and full of big rocks in the sea along the beach, can seriously injured.
The sand and view are really nice, but that's it.
