good Beach, although can get windy

Nice beach, no shade but the little shops do sell beach umbrellas. when the wind picks up you do get sand blasted from the Dunes, lots of bars behind for you to escape to though.

Located at the end of the Maspalomas Dunes, you can swim in the Atlanctic and feel like swimming in the desert. Very clean and well kept. It is free for everybody to swim and a small part of it has sun beds and umbrellas, which are very cheap. The atmosphere is exotic and it is adjacent to the Dunes Lagoon,... More

Beautiful views with the ocean in the background. If you are traveling with kids be careful of where to rent, there are some nude hotels in the area.

I would definitely visit the Sand Dunes if you are near. We took some lovely photos and its pretty incredible how big it actually is!

Very nice to walk through the dunes at the end of the afternoon and take photos. Seems like Sahara !

We stayed in Maspalomas after previously staying in Puerto Rico before. It's great for the beach and holiday world (where you can book bike hire and things like the jeep safari). There isn't much night life, but there are a nice selection of bars, hotels and restaurants. You can get the bus to Puerto Rico and then take a ferry... More

The sand dunes at maspolomas are a must for anybody visiting this part of Gran Canaria. Don't be surprised to see nude bathers in the dunes though ;)

Always have a good time at the beach......it's a clean beach with life guards. You can hire 2 x sun beds & an umbrella for €7.50.....we thought reasonable. Beach bar near by, good coffee. Good fun had by all.

This is a lovely area but be careful if you don't like nudity as it has a vast nudist area, including a very large gay naturist area where the boys like to hang out. Each to their own but it may not appeal to families with young children. The sand does get very hot so be sure to wear some... More
