Nicely kept beach, although can be very windy at times. The walk to Playa del Ingles is a delight, although there are a couple of nudist areas on the way and we found that a few of them were more than happy to parade their wares for all to see - not pleasant.

Nice dunes, great place for walk and relax. Quiet busy - cruising - place, it is usual that people are naked here.

Came to this resort because of the many training advantages. The sand dunes are really breath taking, there fantastic and really clean! Best time to visit is around 5pm when the sun is going down, it's so peaceful and you feel like you've got the whole dunes to yourself! We only came and sunbathed once as we couldn't be bothered... We walked from Playa del Inglés to Faro. Impressing dunes by Maspalomas. The fine sand feels very nice around your feet.

We have been to Maspalomas many times and we have experienced, at times very strong winds on the beach This can be a real nuisance and can quickly clear the beach. However we have a tip for travellers who still want to lie in the sun but out of the wind. Years ago we bought a windbreak and we found... More

Fantastic beach that goes on for miles. Beware nudist's in some areas, they are not shy and will stand full frontal which is a little alarming if you have small children.

The famous dunes - the lovely fine sand - the expanse of 6km of beach - the availability of sunbeds and refreshments - all go towards making this an absolute must visit in Gran Canaria. There's everything here to suit hetero, homo, children, nudists at various parts of the beach.

Excellent walk from PDI to Maspalomas lighthouse at the edge of the sea all the way. We were fortunate to have the wind at our back for most of the walk - then we cheated by catching a local bus back to PDI.
