The beach is quite OK, although there are lots of tourists. You can rent an umbrella with 2 deckchairs for 9€ and you can also use the toilet for free with the ticket. Note: You can buy an umbrella in any of the stores on the beach for cca. 10€ The water was quite cool in july, which is great... More

Although the beach itself is still very good and well maintained in amongst the dunes and areas of undergrowth and trees particularly there is an increasing amount of used toilet roll and odour about the place. Virtually all of the beach is without toilets and sadly the dunes is it. The authorities really need to get to grips with this... More

I'm staying at Playa del Ingles which is one of the resorts along the stretch of beach at Playa de Maspalomas. The beach is great, close to the water, large waves, great sand, factor 10 cream for me, coming for a swim?

By walking over the dunes there are ares You can truly get away from it all.Take water and wear good shoes. It will be like You are in the sahara desert at times oh and beware when You encounter other people they may not be wearing clothes as there is a big naturist area here.

The dunes are just breathtaking ! You feel like in Sahara desert. The walk is quite long if you want to go through all the area but it worth the trip ! Don't forget to take your flip-flops or shoes (sand is very very hot!) and water !
