Like a little bit of the Sahara, this beach sits in front of a huge area of sand dunes in front of Meloneras, Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles. You can walk all the way between Meloneras and Playa del Ingles and it's a very pleasant...More

Just back from Gran Canaria, we were staying close to the Maspalomas dunes which are definitely worth a closer look. We had absolutely fantastic weather for March with the temperatures everyday between 26°/27° and even hitting 30°. Walking across the dunes is spectacular the nearest...More

Breathtaking views out across the Atlantic ocean, some days the sea had plenty of waves for the surf boarders, on other days, it was fairly calm. The paved walking areas are in good repair. Lots of natural plants & grassed areas. Cafes & restaurants aplenty,...More

The beach is fine but walking from the lighthouse it quickly changes from families to naturists and that may not be to everyone’s taste. If the naturist element doesn’t bother you, it’s a lovely walk.

Beautiful beach, especially walking down From playa del ingles. Worth a visit. It is a long walk from the dunes to the waters edge though so bring water.

Large beach with lots of people but still room for more. If you want a quiet drink worth walking past the lighthouse onto the promenade. Some good sand sculptures on the way!
