Went to see jumanji the next level here. Ordered a pizza that cost me 9 euros and was basically a heated frozen pizza, they advertised a homemade pizza. The popcorn was obviously microwaved and still cost 5 euros. The seats however were really comfortable and the blankets a nice touch.

Thanks for taking the time to review the Moonlight Cinema. Sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your pizza and popcorn - as advertised, our pizzas and popcorn are both freshly made to order, in fact we regularly receive great feedback on our pizzas, as they are of such a high standard. They are most certainly not ´frozen´. We´re glad that you found our sofas comfortable, however and hope to see you again soon. Thanks again for your feedback.

I previously rated this place 5 stars having visited numerous times over recent years. In the last 6 months I’ve visited twice and would give the experience no more than 3 stars. Maintenance wise, there is a horizontal line across the bottom half of the screen which needs addressing and the sofas sink in the middle making it impossible to sit comfortably. Blankets are usually provided as it gets cold during the late showing, however on our recent visit they were not and we were told as an audience not to ask - no explanation given. Advance booking is recommended, which we always do, however on ticket collection the guy on the desk seems not to like you asking where your seats will be and if they can be moved, even though at this point there is usually 50-70% of seats still free. Ultimately we ended up sitting off centre and too close to the screen even though I’d asked for middle and further back. Disappointing for the price and for what was previously a 5 star experience that I have recommended to anyone holidaying in Gran Canaria.

We found out about the Moonlight Cinema in our Jet 2 holiday information book. It sounded like something different so we decided to give it a try. From the Gran Princess in Playa Del Ingles it cost 5 euros in a taxi and was a lovely cinema experience in an unusual setting. The film Bad Boys, which we saw, was very good too. I cannot comment on the food/drink as we did not participate, but various people had food and drink during the evening. They do provide blankets but we did go prepared if it went chilly. Highly recommend a visit to this venue.

Well there is the sun and the sea, but we enjoyed seeing 'Judy' at the Moonlight Cinema this evening. We sat on a sofa waiting for dusk drinking a bottle of cava (complementary with the dinner menu). The show started when it was dark enough to see the screen. A memorable experience watching the film wrapped in a cosy blanket as the evening advanced.

Visited last night with 3 friends. Reserved online for late showing. Arrived early to collect tickets and decided to stay and get food there before our film started. Pizzas and nachos were lovely, and there was a great meal deal on offer so we got free bottle of wine. Staff were great, food excellent, cocktails delicious, seating was comfy with lovely thick blankets provided. And the film (The Gentleman) was brilliant too. Would definitely recommend this.

Really great place to enjoy movie under the stars. The movie is in English with Spanish subtitles.
We went on 1st January and wore layers of clothes to keep warm and the cinema provides blankets which were nice n cosy.
A small menu of pizzas, desserts and drinks are on offer and they deliver these to your seat which is a two seater sofa.
Would recommend as a night out whilst on your holiday.

We bought tickets on line for a specific listed showing time. When we arrived we were informed the film actually started much later than advertised. We did not stay to watch the film as we had scheduled accordingly. This was a real nuisance and was surprising as the rest of their website was informative and well displayed. I just hope this isn't a ploy to get people to arrive early to encourage them to spend money on food and drink while they are waiting for the film. So all in all rather disappointing.

Thanks for taking the time to submit a review. We´re sorry to hear that you were disappointed by the in formation provided. In actual fact, the times provided on the website are the times that we open the ticket office, not the start times of the films. As you will appreciate, as an outdoor cinema, we are fully dependent upon the time of sunset, so that our guests can enjoy the film properly in full darkness. This time varies from day to day and then has a knock-on effect on the time of the second film of the evening. However. our ticket office staff are always happy to confirm the exact starting time of any given film - you can even email us in advance to check. Thanks again for your feedback and we hope to see you again.

The film itself (the gentlemen) was brilliant but there were a couple of issues with the cinema set up. Firstly there is a narrow horizontal line towards the lower third of the screen which extends across the whole screen. This isn't critical but annoying. Secondly as the seats are all on the same level, if someone is quite tall and sits in front, your view may be restricted albeit only a little.
The screen is above head height so your neck can ache after a while depending how you sit.

Visited twice during our holiday. Outdoor cinema, comfy seats and blankets. Wide range of drinks and snacks on offer. Can place an order at any time during the film by pressing a button for waiter service. We went twice during our holiday to see Judy and Dolittle. Much better than the cinema at home. The staff were lovely and would visit again.

We love this place .. where has it gone? We went September 2021 and it looks to have been replaced by a Thai restaurant.

This Outdoor cinema has always been a great addition to facilities in Meloneras a great variety of films, up-to-date and old classics .. and I suspect would be even more in demand in COVID times as many prefer the option of outdoor entertainment.
