Moderate Hike with Beach & Castle Views
Sep 2019 • Couples
I’m shocked this trail isn’t higher up on the things to do. After 5-10 minutes of walking you arrive at a beautiful vantage point where you can see the beach below and the entire castle. Another 5 minutes up and you can see all three Tossa beaches. Beyond that you walk along the bluffs and have great views of the coastline throughout. My wife and I snagged some of our favorite photos from our trip on this hike.

The trail is well maintained and there are beautiful lookout points throughout. The hike is moderately challenging. I did the hike in flip flops but you should wear hiking or running shoes if you’ve got them because it gets a bit slick in places.

Nice beach, just needs finer sand
Jul 2019
This beach is right by the camp site. The water is very clear and nice for snorkling.
The sand is more like gravel, not fine sand.

The beach to go
Aug 2019
This is a great beach at Tossa De Mar. it is between 2 cliffs so it is cooler in the morning. There is a beautiful coral reef for scuba diving which was fun for the kids and adults as well. You can buy equipment at any of the gift shops in the city.

If you come for more than one day it is worth while to buy an umbrella instead of renting one. It €6.5 to rent and €8-€17 depends on the size - you will need one when it gets hot.

Perfect Beach
Jul 2019 • Family
Crike we have spent so many hours here over the last 40 years.
Just right for swimming, diving from the rocks or snorkelling.
Our son played all day on the shoreline and now the grand children do too....handy cafe and bar....perfect.

Hiking with beautiful sea views
Jun 2019 • Solo
It was a long walk from Tossa de Mar main beach to there through forest. Had to stop few times to enjoy the views. I enjoyed that hiking most than that small beach. One can go cala bona following same way.

Crystal clear water and fine sand

Access a bit tricky but a beautiful, protected cala, well worth a visit especially if, like us, you are making the coastal walk.

Gorgeous little beach
Oct 2018 • Family
Get away from the crowds and swim at this beautiful little beach. It is a short distance from the primary beach and can be reached by boat or by foot.

Challenging hike with beautiful views and beach.
Sep 2018 • Couples
We walked the Cala Pola trail last week and it was beautiful and worth it. However, if you are going after mid September, you should know that the beach services, including the restaurant, WCs, etc. are closed for the season. Additionally, while the walk was great, it was very steep in parts and more challenging than we expected so we planned on taking the boat back to Tossa and at this time, you must call the boat to pick you up on the sand. We learned this from the tourism office who provided the following number - 972 3422 29. Boat ran hourly and it was a great way back to town, particularly as we stopped at one of the caves along the way. Fare is 10 Euros per person but worth it.

Walk from Tossa
Aug 2018
I walked to the beach from Tossa and its quite a climb through the forest followed by a steep descent through a large campsite . Its about 1hr 20 min but well worth it.The beach was very quiet as it was only 8am but I could imagine the beach getting very busy a bit later on. I fully intend to complete the walk again next year.
