    Beautiful little cala
We walked from our hotel in Tossa to this beautiful cala. The hike was costal crossing another little cala along the way. Through beautiful pine forests scented with rosemary. There are few up hill climbs and unstable spots but good walking sandles would be enough. It took us about 45 mins first time. The route is is easily followed by green markings as you go along. The pictures along the way are worth the walk. The beach itself isn't huge and did fill up quickly. As there is a camping hoilday park and lodge rentals close by. Also others walking from Tossa to enjoy throughout the day. The water here was calm, clear and perfect temperature. There is I believe some bar/shop far end of beach. But it is advisable to bring drinks snacks with you.

The best place ruined by pollution
a special place ruined by unsustainable tourism with boats, motorized dinghies, jet skis. the crystal clear waters of Cala Bona and Cala Pola visibly full of petrol and dirt. in my opinion, access to these vehicles should be regulated much more in these areas to preserve nature. Please do it before it will be late!!!

We would like to share our awful experience with Cala Pola camping site. We had 2 months in advance confirmed booking for 16 nights at whopping price of €1650 only for camping pitch. On arrival we were refused to check-in, because we were with tent. Our initial contact was by phone about camping pitches and facilities, question about tent was discussed, so we proceed to booking on line where we had written about coming with tent. Their website has clear mentioning about glamping tents and photos clearly showing people staying in tents. We spent 7 hours at reception waiting to be seen by member of management, who eventually said: "Sorry we forgot to mention about our new policies with tents".
After exhausted car drive from London, we were ruined….in particular our 9 years daughter, who literally was sobbing with tears in front of manager. No sympathy, no compassion.

What a place....4th visit, and the first since lockdown, and didn't let us down.
Hotel (SaReria) was superb (again) & the town, beaches, shops, bars, not to mention the castle - all fantastic.
Not forgetting, 3rd weekend is the VW boys arrive, hundreds of camper vans, buggies, Karnans and more.
Did we enjoy it....yes we did. 👍

While we were in Tossa de Mar, we had no idea how to get to Cala Pola. I had heard how beautiful it was. We asked an elderly man and he was happy he could help us. He gave us the directions in Spanish and he was spot on!

We missed it at first, as we expected a large parking place, instead we had to park at the side of the road. Once out of the car, I looked down and I immediately fell in love with the surroundings. The trees were a bit crooked and we could see the boats and the sea quite clearly. It was so beautiful! I wanted to go down and see this beach from close.

We didn’t know that a few meters away there was a paved road that led to the stairs. We took the hard way, through the woods. We ended to the stairs as well.

The view from the stairs was perfect for pictures. It was unheard of. It was so beautiful!

We hadn’t brought our swimsuits and when we arrived at the level of the beach, we were able to only turn to the right, where the rocks were. We had great views on the sea.

However, we could see the beach quite clearly. The sea was transparent. We could see clearly the urchins and plants.

I wished we could have stayed here a bit longer, but we had still a far distance to reach our hotel. I hope that one day I will be able to come back to this little paradise.

Pretty coastal path taking in excellent views of the sea and natural beauty of the landscape, a little tricky in places but well worth the effort. A circular route can be taken back to Tossa.

There is a lovely walk from Tossa to Cala Pola and you can catch the boat back. Take your phone as the boat does not automatically stop here

We walked from Tossa, stopped at Cala Bono, which was beautiful, clear clean sea, able to swim them walked into Cala Pola to find plastic and litter all along the beach. The beach wasn’t that busy but hardly anyone was swimming. An elderly gentleman was lying in the sea as the waves washed over him and unbeknown to him a sanitary towel washed over him.
We all picked up litter and plastic and disposed of it in a bin right at the back of the beach. Wouldn’t return.

We arrived at Cala Pola after having walked from Tossa up to the Col Del Sartre then down to Cala Pola via the very extensive camp site We thought that we may return with the boat but there was no time table on the beach so decided to walk via the coastal path
We could not see any eating places on the beach but it is a very pretty spot

I come here for several years, because sister lives in Tossa and this is my favorite beach in Tossa are three that I think is most beautiful. During the season a lot of people everywhere but when you go to the end or beginning of the season there is comfortable and the water is beautifully clean although a bit cold and the sand is coarse but comfortable on your feet.
