The castle is enjoyable to visit, lots of history, excellent views and a good diversion from lying around on a beach. It is a steep climb from the village but the views are great all the way up and the cafe on the very top...More

There was much more up there than we thought! The walk up is fairly easy. Some quaint shops and restaurants within the castle walls.

A walk through the old medieval walled town up to the lighthouse may be a little strenuous, but is well worth the effort and has to be done when visiting Tossa. You can either walk up via the town walls for the first half, or...More
